I decided that i will have the government complex but then all the Saturdays in December where taken that left me with Fridays. And i was okay with it but my family totally refused. And because they are helping me to pay it doesn't give me much choice. I was so upset i even stopped talking to my mum for a day lol. I really wanted the government complex but now i have to look for something new.

Personally the only way i will have a new venue is if it's either intercontinental Hotel or TAJ Pamodzi hotel. The rest of the venues just don't do it for me. Only one of these will do. And because they made me give up my dream venue they have to foot the bill.

I have been very stressed you guys. The wedding is on the 1st off December and i'm still having trouble finding a venue. I know that something good will come out of this i just have to keep believing but i cant help worry. Because i want everything to be perfect.

Apparently Fhubby has gone to check the two venues so im going to wait and see what he says. Planning this wedding from here has been so difficult. Can you believe that i am now a size 8 from a size 12. This isn't good.

So sorry to hear that the venue you wanted didn't work out for you. You can check online for venues in your area, even craigslist may have some. I hope you find something soon. I know finding a place is the hardest part. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your venue!!! That is so disappointing!!  :(  I am sure that things will turn up for you!! (Hopefully SOON!!)

Hey solostar. Am so sorry that you didnt get the venue you dreamnt of.. Its not all things that will work out the way we want them to, but always remember this: all things happen for a reason and God allows certain things to happen for our own good..  Dont allow the venue issue to distress you... There are so many other things that you should be grateful for. I also know how hard it is for you to be planning your wedding away from home , but  know everything is going to workout perfectly for you... Stop worrying, lay it all to the Lord & put that smile back on your face & tell yourself it is well. Now with a positive energy start to work on the remaining to do-list with your Fhubby & look forward to working on wat you have ryt now  and make it special. Takecare =)
