Wedding Dress - What a Surprise!! - SONIAM2THAC's White Wedding by Color Blog

So I've just started with the wedding planning and I've been so indecisive about colors and theme and such things. But I was pretty sure about the style of dress that I wanted. I did not want strapless. I did not want a long train. I did not want a lot of fuss or poof. I wanted something simple, yet still beautiful.
So. My mom and I go today for me to try on some dresses since she wasn't with me the first time. I went to this bridal salon in particular because they carried the Makaella line. I picked out several dresses, and just for fun, picked out the biggest, poofiest dress I found. And absolutely freaking loved it!!!! I was crying, my mom was crying, and some of the sales ladies said they were gonna cry if I didn't stop! I HAVE to HAVE this dress!!! It is waaay out of the price range of what I wanted to pay. But it doesn't matter now! I will come up with a way for this dress! On the way home I was thinking about the dress, and everything just came into place. My colors (a plumish-purple and orchid and ivory), the theme (vintage/victorian) and romance! I am just so happy now! Who would have known!

I didn't want a poofy dress I got it becuase of my mom but I love it now :) Good luck with the planning

that's a very pretty dress. I had a friend who said she wanted just a normal simple dress but ended up with one that was pouffy and had tons of beadwork. lol funny how the ones you don't think like you end up loving! nice choice.
