My first wedding cake - I made my first wedding cake - SONLOVE2010's Green Wedding by Color Blog

I know this is not a cake decorating blog, but I wanted to share with you a picture of my first wedding cake for a friend. I promise to not post anymore cakes on here but just thought I'd share this. I never got a pic of the final display (this is a non-pro pic and even before the table decor was set up and even before assembled the cake stand). This was soo nerve wrecking. I now understand what caters and cake boss people go thru...its so stressfule because u want everything to be perfect for that person. You have to literally put yourself in their shoes. Especially, since I too wil be getting married soon, I had to make sure I met her expectations (even though this was free for her).

I'm going to attempt a tiered cake this week (it's my birthday hehehehe) and I love decorating cakes. If it turns out well, I"ll post it!

what do you mean your last one you are going to post?!!!! We are here to support you through everything! This is one very wedding related!!! I have seen post that were far from wedding stuff, heck i have posted stuff far from wedding stuff.

Also, you never know what florida bride maybe checking you and need your help. there are two other ladies on here that were taking the cake classes at michaels and kept us up with almost every cake they made. Then there is Pinkprincess that shows her aisle runners, and rhonda that shows her wonderful creations. We would love to see more of your work you did an amazing job!
