Groom's cake - I'm going to make this! - SONLOVE2010's Green Wedding by Color Blog

As you may or may not know, I make cakes & cupcakes, etc. I too completed the Wilton classes over 2 years ago and have been baking ever since (check out my older blog post of a few of my cakes).

Many people think I am crazy for doing this since I will be busy, but these cupcakes look super easy to do! Plus, its made with fondant so I can get this out the way earlier in the week. Fondant helps keep cakes moist! What do you all think??? Instead of the foil paper (looks tacky), I will get green fabric or something -because a pool table is green.

My FH loves him some pool! This will be a total surprise to him!

Ha that's adorable!! I wish I had time to make something cute like that to surprise my FH, but we'll already by making the centerpieces & a couple other big projects the week before. Have fun!

this cake is very nice!! Trust me, he will enjoy it..I did the same thing for my hubby with a Jordan cake..I wish I had pics to show of his face receiving it! He will love it!!

@nballa, Girl, when you are frugal like me, you will find any way to save money here and there (on those finer things...I unfortunately have expensive taste, but totally refuse to pay an arm and a leg on certain things...it must be worth it, for me to spend). But, I'm loving the DIY projects. Keeps me sane with my line of work. I enjoy it! I just need to finish up all of these outstanding items since the BIG is drawing near! Thats for the feedback!!!
