Engagement
To have a party or not???

Me and my FH are already living together with our children ( from previous relationships) so you think that it would be tacky to have an engagement party? Our wedding is 10/13/2012???? i would like to have the party this october???

We didnt have one, basically because i HATE being the center of attention (HATE HATE HATE! i'm so nervous for the wedding ahh!) If I was in your position..i love LOVE halloween! I would have a big halloween party!...You could have prizes for best couples costume!!! & your kids would get to be involved! that would be so much fun!!!...oh boy! the theme could be.."until death do us part"!!!

i had to come back to your post to see what you thought!! haha!! that would be AWESOME if you dressed up like that!!!!! there are so many things you could do!! zombie bride! hahaa!! they have wedding dresses at the salvation army for $25! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!! ill be looking for more posts about this!!

We didn't have an engagement party, honestly, we've been 'engaged' for 4 years, he gave me a 'promise ring' when we were 16 and an actual ring when we were 18. I had never heard of one until I started planning my wedding though and it wasn't really necessarily for us to have one but I love them! and this theme you choose? it's friggin' awesome!
