This is sonyrobbs's Blue Wedding!

So those of you that read my posts know that I had it down to 4 dresses that I liked. I narrowed it down to 2 dresses last Friday and went back today with my MOH. I thought I was going to end up choosing this dress from Elizabeths Bridal Manor. My MOH had seen that dress on me so we went to Mimi's Bridal Boutique first. I had tried the dress on from that boutique 2 times by myself but never walked out of the dressing room in it b/c there were always tons of ppl! Well today I walked out in front of the huge mirrors and couldn't stop smiling! I didn't even want to go try on the other dress! I knew this was the one! My MOH was flipping out over the dress! I LOVE IT! I had to buy it so early b/c I am preggo...and soon I won't be fitting into any sample dresses other than plus size or maternity which I don't plan on wearing @ my wedding lol. I'm so excited! I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! The picture is weird...doesn't do it justice at all! I think it's the girl thats wearing it and the really weird way she is posed! They should have just had me wearing it intead!

So I have until the end of this month to get a dress. I'm 2 1/2 months pregnent and I def. want to get one ASAP before I start to blow up like a hot air balloon! I have 4 dresses that I like...2 are on sale...but the sale only goes until the end of them month! One is only $899 and is 50% OFF! That's a deal and a half! One of the dresses I cannot find online so here are 3 out of the 4, let me know what you guys think!

A candy buffet is something I really want at my wedding. I was just curious about a few things. For those of you that are having one at your wedding...are you doing it all yourself...is there a company that's doing it for you. I'm thinking of doing it myself...saving money...so I was wondering if anyone had ideas on where to get jars/glasses to hold the candy and places to order candy from.

I found this pic online and totally love all the colors of blue! It's going to be the inspiration for the rest of my wedding planning! Now I am super excited!

I was just curious where everyone gets their ideas from. I'm creative...but not as much as I would like...so I'm having some trouble coming up with unique ideas and what not. Do you guys just surf around online looking @ diff. sites....look @ wedding mags? What do you think is the best way to get ideas?! HELP ME PLEASE!:)

I am trying to choose my wedding colors and it's literally driving me nuts! We are getting married in September and I feel like if your getting married in the fall you HAVE to have fall colors...which I hate!

I am def. having blue, light bluish like a tiffany blue, but I don't want to do the hole Tiffany theme thing. Then I am thinking...silver...looks very elegent??? But I wanted some pink in the wedding also. Blue, Silver, and Pink....is that to much? Do they even look good together? I can't imagine it in my head b/c I don't know what things are colored in the wedding and reception.

The feeling that I want is warm and cozy...but the colors that I want are def. NOT warm and cozy! Any advice on choosing colors or input on the 3 colors I like? Any clues on how I can make it feel warm and cozy w/ cool colors or is the warm and cozy just out the door?!

I WISH I HAD A WEDDING PLANNER! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I have no clue what I'm doing on this site! Just looking at how well planned out everyone else has their weddings is stressing me out!lol
I've got a good amount of time to get things done...I just don't know what the hell I'm doing!

We are currently choosing between our top 2 reception halls. One is called the Kellogg Center...which I LOVE! The room is very beautiful...but b/c it's on MSU's campus there are hidious Big 10 school symbols on the top of the walls! 10 huge ugly circles that they don't even cover up for you! So that would be more money to spend on having them covered up. Also b/c our wedding date is on a football Saturday....guest rooms are $160!!! The rooms are really nice, king size beds, flat screen tv...and the bridal suite...A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I can't even describe!

The 2nd choice is Kensington Court. The ballroom has a very high ceiling which I like, the wedding planner is so helpful, very young and hip which I like, the guest rooms are only $100...the only thing that is really bugging me out about this place is the guest rooms and bridal suite, I don't even really care about the guest rooms b/c everyone will be so waisted by the time they get to their room they won't even remember...but at least the bridal suite....HORRIBLE! When you walk in it's like a funeral home! silk flowers all over, flower wall paper, couches, bedding...everything. The wedding planner said they are doing major renovations but....if its the same decorator....I just don't know!
