Candy Buffets
How to?
A candy buffet is something I really want at my wedding. I was just curious about a few things. For those of you that are having one at your wedding...are you doing it all yourself...is there a company that's doing it for you. I'm thinking of doing it myself...saving money...so I was wondering if anyone had ideas on where to get jars/glasses to hold the candy and places to order candy from.

I just left this website on someone elses blog, its a great website that talks about candy buffets:

I believe everyone does them themselves, at least that is what I know.  I have never really heard anyone but one person say someone did it for them.  If you tell your place you are haveing your reception at, they will set it up usually but you have to buy most of it.  The glass jars/containers can be bought almost anywhere: Walmart, target, Ikea, Bed bath and beyond, michaels are among the many.  Target has some I am getting that are btwn $6-$12 and I got two at walmart for $3 so far.  Getting candy in bulk online is the best way to go, or going to your costco or sams club to see what they have.  Some good candy sites are candywarehouse.com and groovycandies.com. Hope hat helps! Congrats!

Check out candywarehouse.com they have TONS of different candies. I am doing it my self. I have glass candy jars and I am going to get labels. I got them at Target, but most places have them for sale.

I'm doing it myself. Saves a ton of money. Besides the canywarehouse I would also try Jewel after major holidays, Costco, Traget, sometimes you can get candy super cheap.

As for jars, I have some vases at home that I'll use. All will be different. Or I might do it a little old school and use actual jars for candy, I will have to ask all my friends and family to save them to have enough but that might look really neat. You can make personalized labels and everything.

I found some cheap big sized candy jars at Marshalls.  You may want to check there or Ross and Tuesday Morning if you have one in your location.
