Linens - Rent or Buy???

So I've been looking online and finding that I can buy my wedding linens for very little more than the rentals cost.

Have any other brides looked into doing this? Would you recommend it?

I seems stupid to me to pay a company a couple grand for linens I can buy for the same price!!! The only reason I was going to use a rental company is because they had charcoal grey and it was so hard for me to find.

Now I have found it on the linensnstuff.com site. The prices aren't bad either! What do you girls think?

I bought my runners, the rest were provided for free with our caterer, but they were really easy to resell. So personally, I would buy them and then try to resell after the wedding.

I went to linensnstuff website also and their price is reasonable , I probably would buy to save money at the end , then you could resale them to make some of your money back, and if you do resale them please don't resale them at the same price  you brought them like other brides on here :)

I asked my planner the same questions when she was pushing rental, her reason was the set up serves, everything is presses, better quality, selection etc.

When we did my design consult I brought my linen I got from tableclothfactory.com and she brought some rentals. The rental was a thicker quality but the purchased ones weren't cheap and she thought they were pretty good for the price.

We decided for the overlay to buy the pintuck overlays and rent the sashes because they aren't available to buy.

The only thing I would suggest if you buy is to all get a small hand steamer to get the creases out and ask someone to got to the tables and team them a bit before they go down

We rented all the round table linens but purchased the oblong white linens we used for the gift table and head tables and purchased all the runners. My parents didn't want to mess with ironing all the linens and then having to clean them afterward so we could resale...it was hard enough to get stains out of the oblong linens and runners.

Linens dress up a marriage, adding a sense of sophistication and refinement. Nevertheless, buying wedding linens
can be expensive. Renting wedding linens lets you have the same elegant look without a hefty price tag.
