Aaaarrrrrggggggg!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to get my period!

My wedding is hardly more than a month away. I've been on the pill for a while and thought I had my period scheduled so I wouldn't get it on my wedding night or honeymoon....I WAS WRONG!

I made a mistake somewhere and now I'm going to have it on my wedding...talk about a bad time to wear white!

I don't know what to do but I need to find a way to postpone it without messing the effectiveness of my birth control...I don't want to worry about condoms on my wedding night.

We're not leaving on our honeymoon for a week so I'm hoping I can at least post pone it till that week after my wedding so I don't have it on my honeymoon...that being said we might go hiking with family for a few days that week and it would really suck to have it then too!

Aaarrrrrggggg...this sucks...at least its better than not getting it at all.

Just dont stop taking the pill.....stop after the wedding so you get your period after... i do that sometimes when i know something big is comong up

ya. Just skip the "water pills" that are in the pack, and go straight to the next months pills and you will still be covered by the birth control, and not have your period. My GYN said it's totally safe. I'm on the nuvaring. Instead of taking it out for a week before using a new one, I just put the new one in, and I don't get my period, and am still covered!!

im not sure why you dont just skip the sugar pills and keep move on to the next pack. your allowed to do that and it isnt bad for your body. i dont reccomend it all the time but why have your period when u can avoid it?!?!

Also agreed- just skip it.  I do it maybe twice a year - usually for vacations or occasions when I just don't want it.

I know it sux.. i was supposed to have mine the week before the wedding and be totally finished for the big day and safe for the honeymoon... well.. it was LATE!!! :(
it arrived the morning of while we were getting ready.. urrgh... it was a pain but I survived lol.. super hard with the big dress and everything... and even more sucky for the honeymoon... but we at least got 4 days without it till we came home.
Im allergic to the chemicals in BC so i dont get to use it. but if you can stop it all the power to ya.. lol

I'm due for mine the day of the wedding :( I thought I wouldn't be but I had it all wrong too! I have never tried just continuing on the pill and skipping my period, but I REALLY hope it actually works on me. Good luck!
