What are your wedding fears?
One is dear Aunt Flo still hasn't showed up. The last time I had my period was May 15 and a month passed already. My aunt is so UNPREDICTABLE! At times she come right on time, at others it takes a long time, and there are times when she don't show up at all. Sometimes I have a 3 day period and other times it last as long as 9 days. Just my luck she comes the day on the wedding or the day of the honeymoon. I've been stressing this ever since the 15 of June passed. I just hope and pray that she comes after the wedding.
Another fear is RAIN. Here in VA the weather been crazy one day it is sunny the next it is raining. I worry that if it rains the guests will not show up and I wasted my money on them. Please God let it be a nice day. FH tells me that I need to stop worrying but I can't help it. WBCB what are your wedding fears? |

Wedding Cake
Really though??????
So I received a phone call early this morning from the bakery in which I am getting my cake. They called me talking about did I want to keep my date for the cake because there is someone there that wanted that same date and wanted to have it. REALLY ?????? I've been paying on my cake so why are you asking if they can have my cake date. I told they HELL NO and was about to really give them a piece of my mind but I didn't. I cannot believe they asked me that. SO to be on the safe side I am going to pay the cake off in FULL Friday.

Single Digit Zone
Wow how time flies. I remember when I was in the triple digits and now I am in the single digits. I have so many emotions going on inside of me. I am excited because I'm about to Mrs. Butler. I'm scared because I'm thinking something stupid is going to happen like rain all our guests don't arrive, one of my services cancel, etc. And now I'm frustrated because not only the wedding is approaching but this is also my last two weeks of my classes for school. For each class i have to write a 20 page research paper and they are due the day before the wedding. So I've been kinda mean because I have so much work to do. I already apologized to my family and my FH beforehand if I snap on them, because I know that was going to happen.
Now what's have been going on lately? For the wedding party, remember how I mention that my BM did not have their dresses. Well luckily they all purchased their dresses and shoes. FH side however, one of them bailed out yesterday and another one been MIA. So FH was able to get back ups for both of them. Another thing that been getting on my nerves is my guest list. I planned to have 150 people at the wedding. Now I have 180. Why because my mother been inviting people left and right and majority of them I don't even know. I even had one RSVP saying that they were bring 7 guests. My mom never been married so she is inviting people that she know. SO now I am trying to figure out how I am going to be able to pay for these people because I am paying by the plate. Then I will be heated if I pay all this money and these people do not show up. The worst is I am still having late people saying that they want to attend and the list is getting higher UGH! Other than that everything is coming into place this is what has been done so far. Friends Come and Go
I had my bridal shower on Saturday, and my real friends and family came to support me and celebrate my upcoming day. What do I mean you may say? I had to go to work training on the same day and my cousin was there too. So I asked her if she was going to come to the shower and she said yes. Now a little bit of background about us two: We were (key word is WERE) good friends more like sisters. We used to always go out and talk on the phone until one of us fell asleep. Then I started talking to my FH and for some unknown reason everything went downhill in our relationship. We stopped talking and hanging out. She was single so I am thinking that she felt like she was a third wheel. Then me and my FH had to take some time apart and me and my cousin became close again. FH came back and what happened....you guessed it stopped talking to me I am completely stopped talking to me.
I tried and tried making amends with her even though I did nothing wrong. So our relationship went from being sisters to being associates. As a matter of fact she was going to be my MOH until things turned sour. Anywho I invited her to the bridal shower just to be a good person and she said that she was going to come. It was at my MOH house so I knew good as well that she did not know where she lived. After training I went home and got myself ready for the shower. When I got there my real friends and family were there, however my cousin wasn't. I really was not surprised but I thought that it was trifling that she had lied to me about going and if something had occurred she could have at least sent me a message. What really pissed me off is that she was on facebook talking about how she was partying with her friends. Really? But you know what I'm not even going to worry about her and I'm not going to force her to talk to me. I had a GREAT time with her absence. She is Supposed to attend the wedding. if she does great if she doesn't oh well. Time will tell. |

Wedding Update
So it's been a while WBC Brides. But I've been so busy with school work and wedding planning. First I would like to say that I had my 26th B-day yesterday and I'm thankful God let me see another year. So now to the update.
What I have gotten so far: A photographer A florist A videographer DJ Cake Topper Cake Cutter Set Centerpieces Assembled (See pic) Bubbles Guest Book Flower Girl Basket Petals Ring Bearer Pillow His ring Have a venue What I need to do: Finish paying for the cake Get his ring sized Pay for the limo Get a aisle runner Get my rentals Get marriage license Get the mini bride dress Get mirrors for the centerpieces Get fitting for my dress Pay for the catering What else do I need to get or do? Please WBC help me out because I do not want to miss anything. Also Saturday will be my Bridal Shower/B-day celebration. So I will put pics soon. That's about it, time is ticking and now I have to really get on my grind. |

DIY Wedding
My first DIY project and it is CUTE
So I just finished making my bridesmaids gift at 2:00am. I was determined to get them all done. I wanted them to have personalized totes with a survival kit and their wedding jewelery inside. I looked everywhere for the totes and majority of them were expensive like $20 and up. I have 4 bridesmaids and a MOH so that would be $100 just for a bag NO WAY. So I went to Walmart and found some canvas bags and thought hmmmm maybe I can make the bags myself. So I found some gold letters, and rhinestones and went home and did a trial run on one of the bags. I did the first bag for myself with my name and some rhinestones around it and it came out cute. I also went and got some stuff for their survival kit which consist of deodorant, tide stick, lotion, sanitizer, wipes, and tissue also I bought their wedding necklace and earrings. I probably will buy more for the kit but that will be later.
Today I also bought the flower girl baskets and the ring bearer pillow. They are ok but I would like to fancy it up some. That may be next on the DIY list. So that's about it, I meet with the wedding planner today so more than likely I'll be back up here and talk about what happened. |

Update on the Wedding Plans
So far everything is starting to fall into place. Today I will be meeting with my head wedding planner and also going to the reception site to pay on it. I found me someone that will do the cake for me but it's going to cost me $750 so that's more money that's coming out of my pocket.
I have 48 days but I just started taking my new classes which by looking at the syllabus it's going to be a stressful semester. So everyone please pray for me because I have to juggle work, school, and this wedding. Things that have been done so far Mailed out invitations Found someone to do the cake Got transportation Photographer deposit Planning Bridal Shower/Birthday Celebration Got a DJ Completed premarital counseling Have someone to do the flower arrangements But still have a million more things that need to be done. |

Wedding Cake
I cannot believe this
So my aunt was supposed to do my wedding cake for free as my wedding present. All to find out that she had a flood in her kitchen and it damaged all of her cake supplies. Meaning she was able to do it : (. Now his happened in December and now it is May and she NOW she telling me that she can't do it. So I had to go shopping to find a cake. Luckily I had found me someone that was able to do it but it was going to cost me 700 DOLLARS. but it has to be done.
Hopefully nothing else turns wrong. |

Here are a couple of the enagement photos that we took. The day before I just got out of surgery and was in extreme pain. But I was determined to get them done. Even though I was feeling that good I still had a ball and the pics came out great. I only had to pay $30. She is going to do my wedding for $200 and she is bring two extra people with her WHAT A DEAL!!!! Thanks again Daytona Mae photography!

Wedding Music And Songs
I love My Mommy!!!!
So our dads was not that active our lives. I know that they have the Mother and Son dance but I did not want to leave my Mommy out. So I went on youtube and found one of my Favorite Mommy songs: I'll Always Love My Mama by the Intruders. So we are going to have a Mommy's Dance in which FH still dances with his mom and I get to dance with mine. It's going to be a surprise and I can't wait to tell my Mommy thank you for everything that she has done for me.
