So, we have offically put a deposit down for our Venue and set our date.....yeah so happy:))) It's going to be at the beautiful Bernards Landing Clubhouse @Smith Mountain Lake on May 11, 2013. We will have our cermony as well as our reception outside on the clubhouse deck and it's going to be amazing! Ok one major thing off the list now many more to go...lol.

So....I'm new to the WBC website and newly engaged as well...YAY, but allready majorly addicted to this site!!! I have been on here looking at other bride's weddings and ideas for a couple of weeks now and it's so amazing really!!!

Well, I got engaged on 4/6/12 on the lake that's close to where we live, It was a beautiful spring day that we spent together ending with a drive to the lake and while over looking the water out on the pointe....I was asked for my hand in marriage, allthough we had been talking about this for months and knew it was what we wanted to do. it still was a shock and total surprise!!!

I'm so happy for this upcoming year and what it has to bring for us and of course I have allready started the much fun and exciting process of planning!!! I'm looking foward to all the DIY projects (because I'm all about that) that other soon to be brides are doing to prepare their special day:)
