Wedding Flowers
Went shopping today and got some things for my DIY bouquets!

I love love love love these so I had to buy them today! I was out christmas shopping and stumbled across these at walmart and had a vision:) I love the gold and the brown--all I need now is the flowers hahaha. The silk roses at Walmart looked pretty cheap, so Im thinking on trying Michaels and hopefully will come across something better looking! Im looking for silk white roses than will have everything to start a mock up of my bouquets! Im still undecided on using feathers as well...I dont want it to look too busy. Do you think the gold berries, brown cat-tail and than some feathers at the base of the bouquet would be too much? Oh Im also thinking on having flower gems in the center of the roses...
I cant wait to get this DIY project started! Oh and today I also got the candles for my unity candles--thats another DIY on its own!!!
I am starting to become a very busy girl, wow--10 months to go!

Ooh!  This is a lot like what I'm thinking of putting together!  I LOVE cattails, and thought they would be great with something like the gold berries you picked.  I'll probably go with feathers, too, or some other kind of natural, different textured thing.  Post pics when you get one done (unless you've already done that and I'm way behind the times...)
