Has anyone ordered bridesmaids dresses from David's Bridal?

Do they want you to pay in full when you place your order, or do you pay a deposit then pay the rest when you pick up?

One of my BMs who lives in NC went to a DB and they said she had to pay in full. Then I called one that I am going to this Friday, and the girl said she thought it was something like, 25% of the dress cost... Not that she was the brightest employee, but still... which is it? I don't know how they expect you to pay for something in full when you don't have it right then and there...

I paid in full when I got my bridesmaid dress from there.

I ordered from Alfred Angelo and they had a payment plan and a credit option too. Some of the dresses are similar in style with small differences. You might want to check them out.

I just had my girls order their dresses last month and they all had to pay in full when the placed their order. You make an appointment and try on the dress and get all your measurements and correct color and then they order the dress. They have you order them because you have lots of different size and TONS of different colors in each style. They would have to have a gigantic store if they had to stock every dress in every color in every size. Plus they would have to stock a few of each one of those too. We ordered the dresses about 6 months in advance and they came in within a month! i was surprised. But make sure you make an apointment to go see them because otherwise they are bitchy. My girls went to three different stores and they were all that way. Good luck!

It does depend on where you live. We don't need one where we live, but some states do require it.
