You can!  It was a little tedious at first, but went smoothly, not to mention that I saved a boat load of money.  Let me know if you'd like any of the info I used.

How did you make these? Did you have a kit or software?

Neither!  I saw some that were similar, and re-created it.  I figured out what size I wanted and went from there.  I order the chocolate paper online from Anchor cut to my specifications for CHEAP!  Got the Ivory Shimmer paper local and got the ribbon from BB Crafts.  The materials came to about $150-$200.

I'm impressed with your invitations -- but MORE impressed that you got your FIANCE to work on them!!!  Nice job!  (BTW, what size did you ask for?  And how many inserts do you have?)

I had seen the 7" which I thought was too big, and the 5" which I thought was too small, so I decided on 6".  I have three insert - RSVP which is a post card, Accomodations and Directions.

I LOOOOVE your invitations, I wanted to make mine in the same style, but I just can't find the paper size that I need (20x27, according to the tutorial)  what size cardstock did you use, and where did you get it?  They are gorgeous!

Bluebride, 20x27 seems really big.  These are 6x17.   The paper can be ordered from www.anchorpaper.com.  It is custom color and cut so get samples before you make your final purchase.  They were really easy to work with and really cheap.  These types of invites normally come in 5" or 7" but one was too small and I thought the other to big, so I settled in the middle.

Thanks, I ordered some samples from anchor!  Just 2 more questions, did you print the inserts yourself? They look so professional!  And would you mind sharing the measurements of your template?  You inspired me!

I did print the inserts myself, however I have a heavy duty printer.  You can easily get them printed, and they will still be much cheaper than getting them made.  Contact me and I will gladly send you the template.
