Wedding Dress - I'm a Watters Bride! - SOON2BMRSOGDEN's Pink Wedding by Color Blog

Over the past couple of weeks I have been looking at this used Maggie Sottero dress that I just fell in loved with and was only selling for $350 but it was a size 8 with a corset back. I was for sure getting the dress when the lady I work with said I should go in a bridal shop and try on the size 8 before I buy just to make sure it fit. well...it didnt, And while I was there the lady had me try on the Brigette by Watters...I fell in LOVE with it and cried when I saw it in the mirror, I never in a million years would have EVER gone for anything like that just browsing online. I'm paying $1000 for this one but it is sooooo worth it. I can't flippin believe it. Unfortunately I dont just have that kind of money sitting pretty in my bank account so I had to put it on layaway, which is fine as long as no one else gets it! It just needs a bustle put in it and taken in a tiny tiny bit at the lower back which the lady said if I do the alterations through their shop it wont cost more than $100 and TA DA...I have my dream dress!

Have any of you other brides went dress shopping looking for one particular thing and ended up loving something totally opposite of what you thought? I hope I'm not the only one lol

Your dress is beautiful! I know you could only say that but so many times on people's blogs but your dress is really beautiful, Lol.... I like it alot. If I had a $1000.00 to spend on that dress, I would too.

About my cake topper, I ordered it on ebay less than a week ago (fast delivery). www.davesigns.com His prices are reasonable and he sends you a couple of small wooden cutouts to practice decorating on! It's oak wood, good quality. I love it! It will be in our family for years to come!

this dress is absolutely gorgeous! i love the detail.

i just wanted to respond to your post on my wall about the wedding shower ideas for favors. the post below my post about the bags is a pic of my favour not complete yet. i am doing a martini glass filled with hot pink bubble gum balls and tied with hot pink and black ribbon.
