Wow.. This year flew by. I am officially 23 and I'm sitting upstairs on my couch typing this out to you ladies on my wonderful cell phone. Ugh. What a depressing birthday this is going to turn out to be. For whatever reason I get REALLY depressed on my birthday. I'm not exactly sure why.. I actually feel really alone. Well, I'm off to dope myself up real good (just so happen to be getting a nice ear and throat cold thingy going on the day before my bday oh and let's not forget the huge zit on my chin). Somebody shoot me now...

I feel like I am hardcore slacking! I haven't blogged in so long. I still come on but I never have anything to write about! So I thought I'd update for those of yous who actually read my blogs.

I'm still losing weight even though I haven't been to the gym in forever. I'm really thinking of not even bothering going back at all. I noticed that when I did go to the gym even though I was just doing cardio that I wasn't losing anything at all. As long as I eat properly throughout the day and do not eat anything after 8 pm I seem to be losing it more frequently. How are those of you ladies doing who are trying to lose weight for the wedding? I weighed myself 3 days ago and I was down to 157. I'm so excited about that considering I haven't weighed this amount in years. I weighed more than this in high school! I tried on 2 pairs of jeans that I haven't been able to fit in years and had no problem getting into them. I'm loving it!

I completely quit my full time job and am only working at the job that I started a couple of months ago. I'm sure I've already updated about this but I thought I would go into a little bit more detail. I had been working for Winners for about 7 months when I started working for Caryl Baker Visage. Winners was just an easy job that I knew I could get and that I could work my way up in fast where as Caryl Baker is job that I would have died trying to get. I'm not sure if any of you ladies have ever heard of the line of cosmetics but they are amazing for your skin and it so happens to be my favorite job of life! Anyways, I was working wayyyyyy too much and coming home absolutely miserable everyday. My FH said that he couldn't stand to see me so stressed out anymore and that he thought that I really needed to work just the one job. So naturally because I was working full time at Winners I knew I had to quit Caryl Baker seeing as how I was literally only working maybe about 10 hours a week there. WOW.. it was the worst mistake I had ever made quitting there! I cried and didn't sleep for two whole days. I really grew fond of CB! I have never loved a job so much in my life! I knew that I had to change things and fast... so two days later, after I had a lot of time to think about things I called the manager for CB and told her that I was a stupid idiot and that I just quit my favorite job in the whole world for a stupid retail job. I'm in school for cosmetics and have always had a love for them so I fell in love working there. I actually would wake up and look forward to going to my job instead of Winners where I would literally wake up, sit at the edge of the bed and be like.. I want to call in.. every single day! Plus, things at winners were getting really stupid. They hired a bunch of new staff and a bunch of managers came in and all of this other BS that I really didn't want to deal with. So now I'm working about the same amount of hours that I was working at Winners at Caryl Baker. I'm so happy she decided to take me back. I'm almost done all of my training there except for the teeth whitening that we need to learn to do. I'm still a little unconfident there because I'm still learning but I knew in due time that it'll work out!

I think this is going to be a long post.. it's been a long time!

Christmas.... ugh I don't even know where to begin. I absolutely hate it? Need I say more? I honestly wish I were still a little kid. I loved crawling into bed knowing that I would wake up to all of these amazing things. Now, seriously I wish I could stay in bed all day. I think it's even weirder/harder now for me to like christmas because my parents are divorced and so are my FH. It's hard going to 4 different places during the holidays. I feel terrible because I'm not even going to make it to my home town until after xmas to see my dad and his gf. I have been working non stop! The mall is nuts so they need as many people on as they can have. So, I'm heading down there on my days off (the 27th and the 28th). I haven't decided if I'm going to stay the night yet or not but I'm still determined to make my way down there durning those two days. Don't you feel like there is just a lot of time, money and effort put into one day?! Sort of like a wedding.. but this one is unnecessary lol. My plan is to sleep in as long as I can tomorrow (and I know it'll be late seeing as how it is already 1:30 in the morning here!) eating, showering, slowly getting ready and then maybe opening gifts around 1 or 2 in the afternoon, socializing for a while and then going to see a movie. I feel like such a scrooge!

We are down to less than 7 months until the wedding. We honestly really need to start looking for invitations. I can't find anything I like anywhere and then when I do find something I really like it is crazy expensive. I'm looking for damask invitations that are elegant but REALLY cheap. We were going to order them here in town but can't find any half decent ones. Do any of you ladies know where we can find nice ones online that won't cost an arm and a leg to order?

I think I'm blogging for now.. I'm sure I could have continued but I didn't wanna bore you all. Anyways, hope santa is good to you! Good luck in the new year!

Wowza, I haven't been on the computer for quite sometime. So, my wedding dress is in... three freakin' months early. I don't have any pics :( but I had my first fitting already with my crinoline and shoes and everything is perfect. I don't need anything done to it whatsoever. All she has to do is make a loop for my bustle and thats it!

We... well I like these two songs as our first dance song. He agreed that he likes both but says he doesn't care which song it is so I have to decide. Which song do you like best?

Totally NWR at all but I have a huge dilemma. As you know, if you have been keeping up with my recent blogs, I started a job a couple of months ago as a esthetician/ makeup artist. I am also working at a retail store here full-time. The FH and I talked the other night and he told me that I was getting too stressed out because I never have time for myself. I'm always working, I haven't touched my school work in months and it's because of the new job. I have all of this training to do for this place (which will be done and over with on Saturday for good) but, it's still difficult to work the two jobs, plan a wedding, plan a shag (jack and jill), and live my life comfortably and as close to stress free as I can get. Now, I quit the part time job today which is the esthetician job. It's what I'm in school for so I was pretty upset with I had to do it. I really enjoyed it. I'm scared that I'm making a huge mistake by quitting but on the other hand my full time job has a position opening up for a coordinating/supervisor. I was going to apply for it before but was told that if I got it that I would have to quit the part time job so I didn't. Then I was told today that nobody else applied for it before so it would have been mine and then I was told that it is basically mine if I want it right now. All I have to do is fill out an internal application. It would be more pay, not much more though, and would look better on my resume. There is also possibilities of moving up in the company a lot faster then in the part time job... but with the part time job it's what I'm in school for so it's my field. What would you do? Sorry if it makes no sense to you at all. I was told tonight that the manager didn't want me to quit and that if I wanted to go back all I had to do was call her and talk to her. I'm so stuck and so frustrated that I've pretty much tired myself out completely. I can't think properly or see properly. It's a huge decision because it could honestly affect my career! And the stupid thing is I need to decide by tonight... like in a couple of hours or at least by 8am tomorrow morning (8 hours from now) so that I can call the other manager back to talk to her as training starts on wednesday.... any help right now would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

It's been a pretty stressful last couple of days. My mom got into a car accident with her boyfriend (they are both fine but my mom has pretty bad whiplash) and I start my hardcore training at my part time job next week with head office. I guess in that time I have actually been watching what I've been eating (sort of.. well, I more or less just stopped eating so late) because I weighed myself last night before I went out for dinner with a friend and I was actually under 160 pounds. I don't remember the last time I was under. It sure did feel good I tell ya! Hopefully I can keep it up!

OH! And it's like just less than 8 months until the wedding!!!

This is my hair style. I was going to buy a tiara until I saw the picture of this hair. It's so plain but so pretty at the same time. When I curl my hair though it comes up just underneath my chin even though it is about half way down my back when it's straight so I'm going to buy some extensions I think so it will be a perfect length.

So it sounds as if everything is going to be okay with the priest! We just need to go over some more things with him and hopefully everything will be ironed out. If I don't get to walk with my dad down the isle I'm going to be super upset!

So this is the finished product. The outside did go a little pink but not as much as I wanted to. I don't know how I feel about it yet.

So first I started off with the 3 boxes of color remover. Put the crinoline in the sink with some hot water. Upstairs on the stove I had water boiling in a pot. When it finished boiling I added the three packages of dye (that stuff stinks so much). I then stirred it in, took it off of the heat, waited until it was all dissolved, then brought it downstairs and poured it into the sink. I mixed it around to agitate it a bit then basically just waited a while. After it was done I rinsed all of the product out. Again upstairs I had a pot of water boiling again. I refilled the sink with hot water. Again added the dye to the pot after it had boiled, stirred it in and then added it into the sink. I agitated it again, flipping it over and moving it around to make sure that the dye got in everywhere. Because the crinoline wouldn't stay under the water I had to put a pot on top of it and hold some parts down. Now, I noticed that underneath had colored right away but the top part doesn't look like it has done anything at all really. How will that look if the top is still white and underneath is pink? Do you think it will look stupid? I'm so nervous right now. I have it drying and I seriously can't wait any longer. I am so impatient. In the mean time, here are the pictures of my dying process.

My decorator posted pictures of this candy table that she did forever ago. I didn't even know that people did this until I saw the pictures. I think it's adorable and is way less work for the bride and bridesmaids to put together favors just before the wedding. I'm lazy, so I thought this would be a perfect solution!!

I was feeling crafty! I went to Michael's and bought these super cute wooden letters for just over 2 dollars a piece. Pretty expensive but totally worth it. I was going to do the whole "I do" or "We do" thing on the cake table but decided that I'd rather have just a plain table or roses on it instead of the writing as most people are doing it now these days. So, I decided on the words "Sweet Love" to be put onto the candy table. I painted them a light pink and dusted them with some multicolor sparkles. Now, there are holes on the bottom of them so you can put sticks in them on a stand. I'm not sure if I want to do that or if it would look better just laying on the table. The only problem then is that you can see the holes. I'm totally unsure on what to do.

I went to a fabric store in town here because I am determined to dye that crinoline of mine. The lady said that because it is polyester to buy this dye removal from rit. Use that like you would the dye, dry it and then dye it with the pink dye. She said that if it doesn't take that I can just take it somewhere and bleach it out. I'm nervous. I really want to put the actual color in it today but I know that it won't be dry enough today.

Work right now is COMPLETELY messed up. Okay, this is what's happening... I left and came back from my vacation to Minneapolis and came back to one of the managers gone, the actual store manager gave her notice and is leaving tomorrow, another manager (there are 4) will be going over to our sister store, their manager is coming to our store, 2 of our coordinators quit, a coordinator from our sister store is coming to our store to take over one of the zones, we will be getting another manager from god knows where coming in to cover one of the managers spots and we started this new program where we will be working in all areas of the store instead of just one during our shift. And now my other job, the one I just started a couple of months ago needs me to take all of this time off from my full time job to do all of this stupid training. Basically she told me a week in advance where my other job needs 3 weeks notice in order to give me the time off. Now, I need to do training on the 23rd but am scheduled at the full time job. UGH. So she's going to LOSE it. I can't handle this crap. I was so excited to start this stupid job and now all I want to do is quit because I'm stressing about it.

On a good note, we are getting our butts in gear with the whole church thing. We made our program and decided on what we want to be said and everything and we have our baptism certificates. They just need to be given to the priest and then we need to make an appointment to do our counseling.

I need to stop eating my face off and start working out if I want to do this boudoir thing. With all of this stress all I want to do is sit on the couch and eat.

Remember the Amy girl I brought up before in a recent post and how I wasn't sure if I wanted her at the wedding? Well, I emailed her and told her how I felt about everything and now we are no longer talking and she is being a spiteful little child, like usual. I just can't stand immature people anymore. I don't understand why you need to continue to act like that after being out of school for years. She found it necessary to call me down for working in retail just because she is working on a cruise ship. How rude is that? I really seriously want to bash her face in. I never said I was happy with my job. I'm just working it to make the money to pay the bills so I can live my life and get married to the one I love. Whatever, thank god I don't need to deal with her stupid bullshit anymore. She was never that great of a friend anyways.

I've been crazy busy finding outfits for the photoshoot! So far I've found four. One I'm not too sure on (it's the pink bra set) because it shows a lot of skin and I'm really uncomfortable with my stomach. I bought the yellow and the green one tonight at La Senza. It's the first time I have ever put on anything silky and liked it. I'm so excited to do this... I'm getting too ahead considering I don't even have a date picked out yet to do it lol The next thing I need is either a Canadiens jersey or a Colts jersey. They are super expensive so I'm not sure if I want to get one. Maybe I'll just buy it, use it for the pictures, and then return it LOL!

I'm so excited! I found these through another ladies blog here on WBC and knew that I had to look for one. I told my FH that I really wanted one as it could be my something blue! I actually wanted a different set and was pretty pissed when I FH ordered me this one (his friend has the paypal account so he did it for us) but it turned out okay. It's a little darker fabric then what I thought it would be but oh well. It'll work out just fine :D

So I finally decided that yes, I am going to do a boudoir photo shoot for the FH. Here is how I want my makeup to look and some of the poses that I would really like to do. I've even started buying some outfits even though I don't have a date picked out to do them yet!

I have this big problem with my family. I'm not close to any of them. I have cousins that I should invite according to my mother whom I have never actually spoken to, EVER. Now, because they are cousins should they stay on the list? I mean, I have this one cousin who recently got married who is actually on my list to invite but we didn't invite anybody from my family. Should I invite some of my bridesmaids family? I'd rather have more friends then family come...Should I invite my friend Amy who was supposed to be in my wedding party but bailed? And now we're not really talking because I have become best friends with her ex boyfriends new girlfriend who now happens to be in my wedding party. See all of the dilemmas? I don't want kids there but will end up having two because of my two flower girls. How do I go about putting that on the invitation. So many questions... please help.

Also, if you have any answers to my post before this one.. please respond lol I'm going insane about it.

Well, apparently I have a problem. I really want to dye my crinoline a nice bright pink. I went and bought three boxes of Fushia Rit Dye to find out that my crinoline may not take to the dye because it is 100% polyester. I don't know what the heck to do. The ONLY reason I bought a crinoline was because I wanted to dye it. Otherwise I would have just rented one for $25.00 from the bridal boutique. Does anybody know how I CAN dye it? I want it to look exactly like the one in the picture. Any help would be great!

I finally bought my crinoline!!! I'm so excited to get home with it. I bought here in the mall of America. The only problem is that it is synthetic material so apparently the dye may not take. Any suggestions? I will post pictures when I get home.

I have been staring for weeks at this necklace that we got in at work. I honest to god HATE pearls but fell in love when I saw this. I'm not sure if it will even go with my dress seeing as how it is so long and I have to triple it when I wear it. It might be a bit too much but I thought that the colors would go perfect with the wedding colors. The description of the necklace is Sterling Silver, Champagne and White Fresh Water Pearls, Marcasite necklace. It is regularly $145.00 but my store sold it for $99.99 plus I had a discount of 10%! So I only paid $101.69 all together. Tell me if you ladies think it will match the dress or if you think it's a bad idea. I'm going to go try it out tomorrow at the dress shop before work.

Oh I cannot wait to get out of Thunder Bay. We need a mini vacation desperately. We leave on Wednesday and are back on Saturday. Usually every summer we take off down South towards Toronto for a week or so but haven't had a chance to do that this year because of the lack of funds. Al desperately wanted to go and see his favorite team play (The Montreal Canadiens) and they so happened to be playing in Minneapolis this season so he jumped on it right away. While I'm down there I am going to a bridal store to buy my crinoline. I don't have the slightest clue where the hell to go though! There are a couple of bridal stores in the Mall of America where we will be spending most of our time but I'm unsure if they actually sell them there. Are there any ladies from out there that would know where to get a crinoline from if they don't sell them in the mall?

Al has been going insane wanting to ask his friend Chris to be in the wedding party but chickened out because he was scared that he would say no. When Al went to talk to him tonight he said he needed to talk to him and Chris new right away what it was about and apparently was pretty excited about it. I'm glad he said yes because he is my favorite friend of Al's. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of him but I'm still super excited! And I also have Shannon added to my side! WOO HOO!!

Here's a picture of my dress. It's not the greatest picture. Actually, looking at this picture of the dress freaks me out because it looks nothing like that when I put it on. My dress is ivory with ivory embellishments instead of the diamond white with silver embellishments. When I go in for my fitting I will take pictures of it. Hopefully I will have it in a couple of months.

I was just wondering which song you are walking into the reception to? My FH and I are die hard Disney fans so I was thinking of playing Ever, Ever After by Carrie Underwood. I think I want the whole wedding party to walk into it as well instead of switching up the song. I think it's a super cute idea considering I'm pretty sure the song we are going to do our first dance to is So close from the Enchanted Soundtrack.

So, I've thought long and hard and for what seemed like forever about the flower girls dresses and this is the one I came up with. When I went shopping with my friend Lynda for her wedding dress this year I saw them and fell in love with them instantly. Hopefully I can match the sash on them to the sash on the bridesmaid dresses because they are from two totally different companies and you cannot purchase them from the same store that my girls are getting their bridesmaid dresses from.

I've been racking my brain about this lately. Me and my FH just recently moved into our house in May. Well, we basically got everything we needed from his father as a house warming gift. He gave us $5000 to do whatever with so we bought EVERYTHING we needed such as a washer and dryer, fridge, stove, couch, love seat, coffee table, 2 other tables for the living room, lamps, dishes, a head board and frame, 2 dresses and a mirror. Plus, I have lived on my own since I was 17 so I already had everything to begin with. I also figured that since I was registering for my bridal shower that I could ask for some new things.. like the things that we do need such as new towels that actually match because right now I have every color of the rainbow and just some other small things. How would you word it on the invitation that you weren't registered anywhere and that you are just asking for money. Or is that just too greedy and maybe we should just register anyways?

WOWZA!!! Seriously... 9 months. Well, it was 9 months yesterday but I didn't get to a computer until today. WOW! I don't have much time left haha

Right now I'm in the middle of finding a template to make my table numbers. I tried to download photoshop to just make them but it will not work on my computer because I recently bought a mac. I even downloaded a version for mac! I'm fairly frustrated right now.

We had a talk today about our money situation. I am now the one panicking about not having any money to get married this year and how we should put it off again and he insists that we do it this year or he thinks that we will never do it. It's just me being a spazzy bride. I worry wayyyyyyy too much about everything. I just want it all to be perfect because I don't plan on ever do this again.

I feel like I still have so many things to do right now at this very moment but I don't. We just need to get our butts in gear and talk to our priest about everything that we don't like about the service. I was hoping that the fiance would do that considering it's his church and he used to go there but apparently he's a slacker. So I guess I need to do it tomorrow!

These are similar to the dresses from Alfred Angelo that i wanted but these come in better colors so I decided on these plus it has a sash with it as well. We are putting the girls in a mocha color dress with a champagne sash. It's going to look exactly like the dark dress in the picture.
