Wedding Decoration
Mexico!!!
Since I live so close to Mexico (about 30 min.) I'm going to cross today to check out their ceramics that I may use as a centerpiece or other decor. My cousin got hers for $2.50 a piece!!!! So I'm just going to look around right now. And flowers are so cheap there also! But theres only certain ones you can cross over :-( I'll let you ladies know how it goes.

Is this silly or is it just me?
So I went to a wedding this past Friday and they had things I had never seen at any other wedding before! For example, they had a CLOWN for the kids. So as we were waiting there for the dinner, we had to watch a clown. :( They also had a surprise gift but it turned out to be a gag gift (G-strings for the bride). Then they got the groom pretty much naked (just undies) and his friends carried him around in the air around the reception hall. The bride was walking behind him with his shoe in her hand asking for $. So is this a little strange or is it just me?

Did your fiance ask your father for your hand in marriage?
A couple of months ago my boyfriend took my parents out to a nice restaurant for dinner and asked my dad for my hand in marriage. Does anyone still do this? My fiance really wanted to do this. And my parents were glad that he did. I suppose that they feel more involved? Did you ladies have your hands asked for????

So I don't remember how I found this website but once getting on here and viewing what it was all about I totally LOVED it! I have to come back every couple days just to see what's new with you ladies, I just love everyone's ideas. :-) I have a year left until the wedding and just joined. I haven't really started planning anything. With how much time did you ladies start planning your wedding? I feel as though I'm behind!!!!
