soon2bmrsw's Pink wedding

I'm a September '09 bride, so it's still pretty close.

Right now my FH and I are looking at ideas.  We're figuring out what we want the atmosphere to be like.  We're brainstorming ways to break free of the "cookie cutter" wedding routine and make it ours.

We have started looking at venue sites, and have our officiant booked.

I have one DIY project mostly done (invitations), another started (guest books - one per table!), and there will probably be more.

I am an October 2009 bride!! Our original wedding date was 5/9/09 on the beach in SC, but we decided that we really wanted to get married in October in Lancaster, PA where we are from. I have my gown & the venue. That's it so far! I pretty much know what I want, just looking for vendors in our price range, etc... I can't get over how expensive photography is!  I am planning to DIY our save-the-dates, place cards, a lot of decor & possibly our invites as well. My fiance is going to build a letterpress printer!! What's your timeline like so far?
