Does bridal jewelry have to match the dress perfectly?

I am finally feeling like a bride in my new gown! I decided to go with the one I couldn't stop thinking about. I was credited towards the new dress which was such a relief! The dress is so very sparkly! I can't wait for it to come in this summer!!!

Now, I'm in the midsts of looking for jewelry! I found an AH-MAZING bracelet at Swarovski. I'm in LOVE it! It's extremely sparkly and so very perfect for me and my personality. However, the shape of it doesn't necessarily match the dress. The earrings that I would get doesn't necessarily match the dress either, but they go well with the bracelet. The bracelet is a little pricey ($360), but I love it so much and I know I will wear it after the wedding. I'm a matchy-matchy person so I'm not sure what to think about this!

What are you doing with your jewelry? Does it match perfectly with your dress? Or, do you think it's ok to not completely match?

My jewelry doesn't match my dress perfectly at all. BUT it's what I like and I think I'll look amazing in it. Honestly I don't think anyone is going to say "WOW her bracelet and earrings don't go with that dress at all" I think the bracelet and earrings in your picture do match the dress. They're not exactly the same but it gives it character. I say GO FOR IT GIRL!

im pretty anal about making sure everything flows together as well. but you have to be happy number 1 and number 2 make sure its something that you wont keep second guessing about from here on out till the wedding day!! you have more important things to worry about :)

I think it's fine not to perfectly match but it does have to have a certain cohesion to the look. But the pieces you picked I am pretty sure you can wear with almost anything. I think it will work out just fine!

Is that bracelet multi-colored or is it just the picture that is making it look like that? As far as the shape, I don't think it needs to be matchy. In fact I hate an overly matched look. So I think the bead shapes on your dress are fine with the shape of this bracelet (I really like it actually)!! I am only worried about the color...it looks like a rainbow colored bracelet...is it just the pic? And lastly, I like these earrings with the bracelet and your dress.

Nidhal: It is clear crystals... that's the sparkle in the picture and the lighting in the Swarovski store! That's what I have been wondering about... the shapes of the crystals on the bracelet vs. my dress.
