Spray Tan... Yay or Nay?

I'm pale and I need color! My shower is this weekend and I want to have at least a "sun kissed" look. I can't really stay out in the sun with my prescription face meds (sun makes my face peel and break out). Plus, the weather isn't calling for sun this week.

So, I thought about getting a spray tan but I have NO idea anything about it. I want to go to one of those booths that you stand there and you get sprayed.

I need help! Who has gotten a spray tan? Does it turn you orange? Does it work well? Any tips? How long does it last? How often do you need to go to keep the color?

get a salt scrub first, and opt for the lightest of colors...But if you do make sure you match your make up to your new skin tone or you'll end up with a pale face lol

I recently had an air brush tan. The kind they get on Dancing with the Stars, lol!! I loved it. I'm also very pale and can't be out in the sun much. So I would recommend an air brush tan. The girls take their time and they cover every inch of your body. The best part is you don't turn orange, it's a beautiful sunkist glow!!

I heard the air brush tans are way better than the machine. Their colors are more true to tan colors and the girl that does it  can get EVERYWHERE. No stripes or spots. Go for it!

Sorry I've never tried it but I hear the spray is a heck of a lot better than the self-tanners.

I got one a few years back and my advice is to make sure you do a scrub first to get all the dead skin off because if you don't once the dead skin falls off so will the tan and you'll look blotchy.

PS - I actually laughed out loud in my office when I saw your "oops" picture!
