Wedding Gown Help!

You can get a lot done before Christmas!! It took me several trips to many salons over and over again. Get a feel for what style fits your body type and go from there. If there is one thing I learned from all of my shopping..NEVER limit yourself to what you "think" you want. I have seen so many on hangers and thought hell no and they looked awesome on. I also ditched my "theme" when looking for dresses. I so desperately wanted to stick to my theme that I missed out on trying on some wonderful dresses! 89% of the time we pick something we didnt have on our minds. We walk in with a 100 pictures and an idea in our head..dont limit yourself. Once I let go of what I had in my head, I found the dress I loved!! Best of luck sweetie!!

don't feel pressured!! you don't want to end up with a dress you don't like 6 months from now because of a salesperson!
take your time. . . and you will get that feeling. Just like with your FH. . . or with a house you're going to buy! lol.

Dont stress hon, you'll know when you try it on, it depends on the style that you want and whatever compliments your curves the best! Every bride is different but I think we can all agree that when you put on "the" dress you will have a MUST HAVE feeling...Don't feel bad, at least your smart, I bought 3 dresses, yes 3....I am trying to still sell one of them lol...and don't get stressed about getting it before christmas, if thats the case it wasn't mean tto be....ebmrace the experience and enjoy being pampered and trying on different styles, you may learn something about yourself

For me it was definitely a case of finding The One. It's very unique and when I tried it on I just knew. But before that I had tried on a few I really liked.

unpredictablebride is right, try on some that you wouldn't think of trying on. I almost didn't try on my dress because it was an unusual color (a light almost peachy champagne hue)....and then it was love!

Im' getting married on October 2nd and I still havent found the dress... They say you need about 9 months for ordering your wedding gown, but Ive had one store tell me 6months..

Im in the sameboat as you.. Im a very pciky person. The first store I went to I didnt even know what I was looking for. You go in with one vision, then you try something else and your confused.. lol Ive been to 4 stores now.. found two that I really like, but I still want to try one store that a friend told me to try.. But if I dont find anything comparable, then Im going back to my first two I loved...

Its hard when other people go with you too, because sometimes their opinions cloud you own judgement..  My mom went with me to 3 places, and I found that I was forcing myself to like the gowns that she liked better.. DONT DO THAT... lol because now looking back at the pictures I took, I dont really like some of the ones she really did, but you just get so overwhelmed in the store..
You will know when you find THE dress... and you have time, dont worry!!
