Please Help!!
Ok, only about 2 1/2 weeks left to go til the big day and I am trying to get all the "small" details in line. Does ANYONE know where I can get these small cartons of milk for the milk and cookie buffet?? I'm desperate. If not then has anybody done this before and have any ideas what else to do with the milk?

Honeymoon
Decided where we are going!
We finally decided we are going to St Maarten for our honeymoon! I am very excited and am looking forward to that just as much as I am the wedding. We are making a honeymoon registry since the items off our other registries are flying of the sheets and the invites for neither of our 2 bridal showers have gone out yet. While planning the registry we found SO many things to do other than the main excitement of relaxing on the beach. This island is only 37 square foot but tons of things to do: horseback riding on the beach, ziplining, dunebuggys, casinos, snorkeling, parasailing, deep sea fishing, jet ski's, island tour, scooter rental, and taking a boat ride to the island of Anguilla to swim with the dolphins. So much to do and so little time, it is going to be hard to cut things out!

Wedding Favors
Finally decided on a charity...well charities
We have no problem agreeing on all the larger items on the list, but the smaller items are what stump us. FH chose St Jude's Hospital and I chose Make A Wish Foundation. Even though we couldn't agree they fit well together and show our love for children and will be donating to both. We will be doing this in lieu of the traditional wedding favors.

Ceremony
This is where our wedding ceremony will take place =) It is Trinity Luthern Church in Tinley Park. It also has a school in it which my FH attended during childhood. His schoolteacher from those years will be playing the organ when we get married!

The Centerpieces
About a month ago my mom and I took a trip to Chicago to go over our centerpieces. I should back up...When we first got engaged and I was going wedding crazy looking at everything I LOVED the look of the submerged flowers. When I attended a bridal expo in April we found a company that would be able to do this for us for $18 a table!!!!! This is so much cheaper than I can make them for and they come and set up and take down so I will not have to worry about a thing with these the day of. So happy and I love them! We also are renting 2 very large candelabra chandeliers with a red rose kissing ball on top for the head table (I could not find a pic online of those and forgot to take pics when we were there) So If you are anywhere near Chicago and looking for beautiful, inexpensive, rental items Divine Designs and Events are great!

Wedding Dress
My second love (after FH of course!)
THIS is my dress! I love it! love it! love it! It was a lot of blood, sweat, and tears but I finally found her. Okay, I may be exaggerating just a bit, but dress shopping was not as exciting as I thought it would be. Believe me when Randy from Say Yes to the Dress says to not bring an entourage, he means it. 6 bridal stores and 75 dresses took me to find this. My mom, FMIL, MOH, sister and niece all went with me to try on dresses and it was miserable. Everyone else's opinions started to become my own. By the end of the day I couldn't tell you what I like, disliked, what I was looking for, etc. in a dress. I was so frustrated. I ended up finding MY dress with just my mom and my godmother.

Makeup Trial
I had my makeup trial today! I decided to go with airbrushing. It does not feel like it is caked on super thick. These pics were taken 6 hours after I got it done and it's still hanging in there. At first I thought the fake lashes looked a bit drag queenish but they are starting to grow on me. Anybody have any advice on how to shrink my big pores and get rid of the bags under my eyes before the big day? It would be greatly appreciated.

He asked me to marry him on February 19, 2010. He had just had shoulder surgery 2 days prior in which I was his nurse and had to do everything for him. He is a pretty macho man and is big on taking care of me so he was pretty uncomfortable with the fact of being helpless. Being two days after surgery we were not up to going anywhere, so he asked me when we were just sitting on the couch together watching TV. He told me that he it sealed the deal when I was taking care of him and being so nurturing. He couldn't wait any longer! His mom owns a lot of jewelry and he has 3 brothers, it is a tradition to pick a piece from her collection for an engagement ring. About a month after he proposed when he got the ring from being sized we did go to a fancy restaurant where he asked me again =)


Also: These are our engagement pics. Can you please vote one which one you think we should use for our save the dates?? I wanted to send these out like yesterday and cannot decide which one to use. You would think it is a life or death decision! Thanks ladies, you are truly great!
