Wedding Flowers
Orange & Pink Flowers
All the girls will be carrying orange ranunculus hand-tied bouquets. Our moms will have white. Harry will have an orange boutonniere and the other guys will have white orchids. My florist insisted that Harry and I match. I still haven't found this exact candle holder for the tables, but I think we've come up with something close to it. We'll have those on half of the tables. On the other half of the tables will have these black lanterns. All will be surrounded by low arrangements of alternating solid hot pink and solid orange roses (colors are not mixed). A lot of votives will be scattered on the tables. The tables will be basic white with a black and white damask runner. The overall theme is black and white with bold pops of orange and fuchsia with a little lime green. And lots of crystals and candlelight. Our DJ will be providing fuchsia uplighting. I feel like it's all starting to come together -- finally :)

Wedding Cake
I love this cake
I’m not much of sweets person, but once I saw this white cake with orange flowers I was really excited! I love this simple design with the orange flowers. We are going to use fresh flowers and will have a butter cream frosting. There will also be a delicate black piping design along the bottom two layers (like the 2nd picture). Our cake will be four tiers. The bottom is our favorite -- vanilla cake with chocolate fudge. The second layer is red velvet with cream cheese frosting. The third layer was Harry’s choice -- Boston Creme Pie. And the top will be chocolate cake with chocolate whipped filling.

Wedding Dress
Dress & Accessories
I just wanted to share some pictures of my dress and my accessories :)
Dress: Maggie Sottero - Adelaide
Shoes: Caparros - Joelle in Fuchsia (zappos.com and endlessshoes.com)
Earrings: Nadri - Nordstroms
Bradelet: Swarovski (google for better prices on their jewelry)

I am having the skirt of the dress taken in so that it is a slimmer a-line and having the train shortened. We are getting married in the chapel of our church and the material is very heavy so I thought it would be best if the train was shorter.

Wedding Invitation
Invitations are done!
I'm so excited that they are done and I want to share! I didn’t want to post this until I sent the invitations out. And now I can!! Just a little background -- I jump at the chance to make the invitations for all of my friends' events. I did my sister's wedding last year. You could say it's my thing. So for mine I was really excited and nervous about making mine. They had to be perfect -- and then are exactly what I wanted!

I designed them all myself. The pictures don’t show the detail or how the color pops on the paper, but they came out better than I could have hoped. A local printer provided the printing and cutting services.

I bought the paper and pocketfolds from paperandmore.com. Their prices, selection and service were nothing but amazing. I used the black metallic pocketfolds and they are just gorgeous. For the cardstock I used the pearl white metallic cardstock for everything else and I was AMAZED by the quality. The printer carries Envelopments which is gorgeous and the ladies at the shop were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the paper and thought it was smoother than the stardream (so this paper was better to print on). I was very happy with this. I used the pearl white metallic envelopes for the enclosures and printed the couples’ names on this with Harry’s laser printer at work. I was not sure if his laser printer would handle this kind of paper and it worked like a charm. And I used plain white envelopes for the outer envelopes to not overkill the pearlescent.

Since I was so excited I did a little photo shoot with the invitations -- total dork. :)

Where to find these?
I know this is a long shot as I've been looking online for quite a while but I was curious if anyone knew where to find these candleholders. I have found lots of variations but nothing close enough to make me happy. Maybe I'm just too picky. But I love the single candle, the height and hanging crystals. If anyone had any ideas I would be very grateful!
thanks!

Orange
We are getting married in my church which is also where I went to grade school. Our colors are black and white with orange, fuchsia and lime green accents. I'm aiming for a modern, chic and fun look.
