I think I found my centerpieces...ekkkkkkkkkk
They look so "soft" and "romantic" and "elegant" Not sure if I will do 1...2...or 3 per table...But I do know that I will put pictures of not only me and FH...but our 2 kids as well :D what do u think? do they look "soft" and "romantic" and "elegant" Should I add 1...2...or 3 per table? anyways they seem so easy to make as well... Photo Centerpiece How-To... Disassemble three like-sized frames, setting aside their fronts and discarding their backings. Paint or stain wooden frames desired color; let dry. Upload or scan photographs into a computer. With editing software, make the images black and white, and resize them to fit your frames. Print them onto vellum paper with an ink-jet printer. Slip the images into the frames. Using cloth tape, hinge frames together to form a triangle. Stand frames around a candle in a protective glass holder. seems easy enough eh? lol |

My BF just asked....
If I would be her bridesmaids!!! YAY....
(there will be her MH (sister) and 3 BM (me and her other 2 besties) She said that WE can pick out our own dresses to wear...The only thing is the dress HAS to be black!! along with the shoes (which i will be getting black peep toes) so I went out dress shopping and found this...and LOVE IT :D I can't wait to go and pick it up next week... I also have a wedding to go to in 2012...so this dress would work perfect for that (I can jazz it up with some red shoes) AHHH I am soo excited!! |

Help? Favors and table # all in one?
I am having a candy buffet...and I am trying to make my wedding as low budget costing as I can without making it look too low budget...ya know? I was thinking that I can use the chinese take-out boxes as seating charts as well...
My guests can find there box with their name on it as they are entering the reception to find which table they will be sitting at ( table 1...or 2...or 3 etc etc) and then after dinner they can use the personalized take out boxes to fill up with candy as there favors Option one Put the guests name and table number on a tag and tie it to the boxes Or Option 2 I could put the table number right on the box...and have there name on the tag... This way it could kill 2 birds with one stone...Favor boxes and table numbers all in one What do all the WBC brides think? |

River Rock guest book?!?!
I want to do something different instead of the same old Picture in a frame that everyone signs... everyone can sign a river rock with a permanent marker there name on one side and a little message on the other...I will have different sized rocks and put it into a tall vase then after the wedding I can take it home and put it on a shelf with some flower...I love River Rocks and thought this would be a good idea or They have a camera that acts like a Polaroid camera...so the couples can take a picture and attach it too the album and sign a message by there picture... But I am thinking I like the rock idea better |

I don't want to take ALL the centerpieces home with me so I thought just after dinner before the "party" starts I will play a game to give away the centerpieces...just incase the :older" guests don't stay that long...
I will hand a guest at the table a card the has the poem on it and they will read #1 and then pass it to the person it best fits...and then they will read #2 and so on and so on here is what will be on the card 1. The news is out; quick send a cable .This poem goes to the person across the table. 2. If someone to the right of you is wearing a dress or shirt of blue, they must take this note from you. But if blue cannot be seen surely red is just as keen. 3. Take this note and read the verse, pass it to the gal who carries the largest purse. 4. It's getting trickier, here's a real humdinger! Pass this note to the person with the most rings on there fingers. 5. We did this with great care, now pass this note to the person to the right of you with the longest hair 6. Alas, the gift is not for you, but now it passes to the guest closet to you, who, with rage, admits to being the oldest age! 7. Don't despair here's the next clue...this must be handed to the guest with the largest shoe. 8. Brides name Is Anxious... Grooms name is nervous, pass this to the guest closest to u who drove the furthest. 9. The wedding day is here, the bride and groom will have a ball, pass this to the guest who is most tall. 10. I was originally going to do bubbles...but out of all the wedding I have attended...not one had wedding wands...and plus I think they will be fun and can be used at the ceremony as well at the reception as we are entering How hard can they be?? lol They are going to have white handles with maybe 2 different shades of red??? I love wedding planning...hmmm...maybe I can make a career outta it hehehe |

were undecided about an open bar...we heard they are really costly...
so we were thinking of having a cash bar and giving everyone a drink ticket for 1 free drink on the wedding couple as a thank u for joining us on our day and the rest they will have to buy themselves... The non alcohol drinks will be free as well as the white/red wine at the table and for those that don't want the ticket they can just pass on to someone else OR Have an open bar when guests first arrive...and then close it down for dinner...then open it back up after dinner and have it become a cash bar... what to do? what to do? Oh should I mention that we are having NO KIDS...the age limit is 19... My kids will be at the ceremony (as my flower girl...and ring boy) otherwise there will be no kids |

I am sooo excited to have a candy buffet...I LOVE CANDY...lol
I am not sure if i am going to stick to just red and white candy... I might just do a colorful one with lots of different colors...so it stands out and I have more of a selection on candy Gonna make stickers to put on the white chinese take out boxes and a sign to put on the table that says.... Step right up to the candy buffet Its a sweet addition to a wonderful day Use the scoop, choose what u like Save some for others, be polite As you enjoy your box of treats Please remember love is sweet And for those that don't like candy I am sure they know a kid or 2 that will enjoy the candy...lol...I don't want to buy something for my guests and have them not like it or use it...so candy buffet = perfect gift |
