Today I found the most FANTASTIC idea. I am doing to make DIY cake stands for each table and pile them high with homemade cookies! Since we are hosting a brunch reception, I think its perfect!

Plate + Matching Bowl= Cute Pedestal! <3 On my way to look for plates now!

I already talked to my mom - who is going to help me bake the cookies - we are thinking Italian wedding cookies iced light blue and ivory, cut out sugar cookies, raspberry thumbprints with white chocolate drizzels, and pizzels (flat annise waffle cookies).

My sweet-tooth is jumping up and down as I type this! :)

I am doing candy center pieces!!! I didn't want flowers at all and love I love that the guests can eat up all the sweets and mingle at different tables.
