Ask a Question
High-Heels to Ballet Slippers?
So I purchased my shoes for the ceremony, about a 3 inch heel....I figured my feet are going to be killing me after taking pictures and what not. I was originally going to wear flats the whole day, because they are super comfy- but the problem with me wearing flats is that I am 5'0" and my Fiance is 6'3", and all my BM's are above 5'5" so I didn't want to look like a midget standing up next to everyone.

But REALLY- I want to wear these for the reception. There is just one problem- My dress is going to be hemmed to go with my heels...will it look way too long if I wear the flats at the reception?

I'm in the same boat.  I'm so anxious to go for my 1st fitting.  How does your dress look, how is the hem?
My dress is gathered/ruffled tulle with a organza overlay, so my feet just peeps out a bit at the bottom.  I'm hoping I will be good for my heels and flats.

Go to my site and check out my shoe dilemma! I've found the solution with 3 inch flip flops...it's just like wearing flats and they are just like cushions. The pair I found were from Aldo and they are absolutely amazing and totally comfy. I'm wearing them for the ceremony and reception.

Are you going to bustle your dress?  That would probably fix the problem with it being too long with the flats, wouldn't it?
