Honeymoon
Have you ever been on a cruise?

Hey ladies! I am needing some help for our honeymoon!

Have any of you ladies ever been on a cruise? If you have- Would you go for your honeymoon? Are their any cruise lines to stay away from?

There are SO many websites to book them on...which one have you used?

This would be our first if we decide to go... I just want it to be the best trip ever!

We are going on a cruise.  This is my first one as an adult. But I can tell you to read the fine print.  We are going on a Carnival Cruise and drinks aren't included.  Regular or alcoholic.  All food is.  And you can get discounts on off shore excursions.

I booked through Carnival, but the prices are all the same.  Some of the websites will include an extra fee for processing, so remember to look for that.   The only advantage to getting the cruise, on another site other than the actual cruise boat site, is that they may offer a discounts when using a Master Card, or you may get additional on-board credit.  But most of the time, the actual Site that the boat is from, will thave the same things, less the processing fee.

I went on a cruise with my mom before and I loved it.  That's what we booked for our honeymoon too.  Honestly after looking at everything the cruise we picked is going to cost only slightly more than a hotel would cost anywhere else for the same length of time plus everything we need is included.  The price does include tea and water and stuff, so you do pay a price per day for soda (I think it's like $6 a day, but if you don't drink soda then no need to pay for it).  Alcohol is expensive, just like anywhere though.  We had a blast when we went, we laid out in the sun, we watched movies in our cabin, we went to shows, played in the casino, and really enjoyed it.  The shore excursions were my favorite part.  We went snorkeling and did a dolphin experience and both were AMAZING!  Plus since it was just my mom and I we did LOTS of shopping.  I'm really looking forward to going with my fiance so we can relax a lot and do some fun things on the excursions.  Our ship has some water slides and a putt putt course and we plan on going cave snorkeling and I'm not sure what else, maybe zip lining, on our shore excursions.

We looked around on a few different cruise lines and decided on a Carnival one and we booked it through the Carnival website.  My parents, aunt and uncle are actually going on the exact same cruise one month before us too so they are going to let us know what we should do and what we should avoid.  I'm so excited!

Plus-5 days for about $700!  How can you beat that?

I have been on 1 cruise before and I loved it! I like that every thing is included, unless you want alcohol or to take an off shore excursion. We are taking a cruise to the Bahamas for our honeymoon. We are using Carnival because they have the best deals. If you book at least 5 months early, you get several hundred dollars off.

The only thing I reccomend is to NOT cruise on Carnival's Holiday ship. Its sooo old! The last night when we were docking it felt like the ship was going to tip over! lol, but even on such an old ship I still enjoyed the whole experience and i would do it again. (only on another ship)

We were on a cruise this year in April (which is when I got engaged!!)  We cruised on Royal Carribean and I absolutely LOVED it!! :)  No complaints at all.  The staff is VERY friendly and they all get to know you before the cruise is over, and its very sad to leave!!  Good luck in your decisions!  I'm sure you will make the right one...
