Halloween
Yes- I am a nerd and already planning my outfit :)
Halloween just so happens to be my favorite day of the year!
Always has been, always will be. I just find it so exciting-
seeing everyone enjoying themselves and being creative.

I am thrilled that it falls on a Friday this year. Greg and I
are going "home" to DC for it. My brother's band is playing
a show in Adams Morgan, a funky, eclectic district with
shops, bars and restaurants, and we are going to dress up.
I can't wait!

Im a halloween nerd as well!!! I think i have more Halloween decorations than for xmas lol I always go all out!! I even dress up and take my nephews out. LoLI have no clue what i want to be this yr I always make my own costumes and usually by now I’m hafe way there. But thanks to the wedding I haven’t had much time to think about anything else...  So I have no clue what I’m going to be this year.. last year i was a dark angel and i even made my own wings with black feathers and everything man that took mnths. Now there hanging above our bed proudly on display.  Whatever i come up with im sure my nephews will love! Maybe cat women or superwoman just for them!

Awesome!!! I can't wait to see what you come up with.
I too prefer my own ideas to store bought "costumes."
I put my look together on my own- and it comes out much much better that way. I wish I could actually "make" mine like you do!
Last year I was a punk girl- complete with hot pink fish nets, studded skirt and belts, and tons of jewelry, and crazy make up.
This year I want to go with the traditional pin up look- with a fitted dress, polka dots or leopard print, a flower in my hair, red lips- the whole deal! I can't wait :)

I am such a halloween nerd as well. I even thought about having the wedding on halloween but changed my mind since I didn't want my guests missing out on halloween with their kids and grandkids. I haven't dressed up in a few years. We'll see about this year.
