Wedding Hair Style
Just made my hair trial appointment for tomorrow!!!
I am having the HARDEST time deciding what type of hairstyle I want...I know I want lots of volume and an updo but I can't finalize what I want! Here are some of the inspiration pics that I have been saving FOREVER that I am going to take with me to my appointment!! I am so nervous that I might hate it or something, but I guess that is what a trial is for! Glad I am going to somebody I trust though! Was/is anybody else as nervous as I am, or am I just a worry-wart?? LOL

Wedding Hair Style
What do you girls think?
So my hair is growing (not as fast as I had hoped) and is right above my bra line. The picture that I posted is what I want, but do you think it will work with the length of my hair? Should I buy some clip in extensions? Or do you girls have any that are similar that would work with my length?? Or should I go with an voluminous updo (I guess this one kind of is a half-updo)? I want BIG hair! I have to go for my hair trial soon, so I really need to figure out what I want to go try...any suggestions ladies??

Wedding Music And Songs
Partially finished with our music selections...neep opinions!
So my FH and I LOVE anything that is played on the piano and because I am wanting the vibe for our ceremony to be romantic and semi-emotional I though piano would be perfect! I have found two AMAZING artists that cover popular songs on their pianos and I have found a few that I think will be perfect!! I don't know how to attach the songs for you all to listen to, but if you go to Youtube and type in their names the songs should come up!! Here is my list, let me know what you think! :-)
All of the ceremony music with be piano and reception will be the actual songs!!! Guests being seated music (probably won't play them all but whatever is left over I will play after our recessional!! FOR SALE!! Since I got another dress, my amazing petal aisle liner/ribbon has to go!!
My new dress is ivory and sadly my 8500 petal liner is white! Errrrrr. Anyways I am going to buy more petals (in a solid pink) that will match my new dress, but would like to find somebody to buy this from me so it doesn't go to waste! Currently it is one long 62' roll that is 12" wide, so that it can be cut to the desired length! :-)

Wedding Dress
Holy crap, I am one CRAZY, but oh so happy bride!!!
So as most of you have probably read, I had some major dress drama recently and then I THOUGHT when that was "fixed" I was happy with my dress(es)....that is until I found HER....a beautiful "Gweneth" by Maggie Sottero!! OMG!
So long story (but I will try to make it short) I went to go with my bridesmaid Tara to see her bridesmaid dress since they all came in (another big YAY) and when I walked into the bridal shop, the owner, who I have become good friends with said " I know you probably figured out your dress issues, BUT I have a special order that came in, the bride is unable to purchase it, AND it is your size "!!! So of course my curiosity got the best of me and I HAD to see it! I swear when she brought it down I heard angels singing, haha!! I put it on and I just KNEW...I HAD FOUND THE DRESS THAT I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR ALL ALONG (and only 50 days until my wedding....how amazing, right??)!! For about an entire day I was wondering what I should do, I had already paid a TON of money for my other beautiful dresses and I loved them, BUT I WAS NOT IN LOVE WITH THEM! The next day I decided I needed to go try it one more time, just to see, and when I put it on I actually cried (the happy bride tears we all want to have when we find "the one"!) Now, I just need to figure out how to pay the balance of what I owe on it...guess I need another CC.....AHHHHHHH! I keep telling myself that in 20 years when I look back at the pictures, I will be happy that I decided to spend the money for it!!! (Oh and to top it off, the owner GAVE me the most beautiful veil...I told her I couldn't afford it, and she said that she couldn't stand me not having the perfect veil to go with the perfect dress)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If ANY of you are interested in purchasing either of my other two dresses, PLEASE LET ME KNOW and I will make you a KILLER deal!!!!!! |

Tacky or cute??
I REALLY don't have the money to do linen napkins (since I want to do two colors), sooooooooo I figured why not buy some awesome napkin rings and use paper napkins in the correct colors?! This is what I came up with, what do you girls think? If you went to a wedding and saw these would you think "this couple is tacky"? The rest of my decor is really nice so I am thinking I might be able to get away with it...what do you girls think?

We got our marriage license!! Yippee!!!

So in 51 days I will officially be Mrs. McCaleb! We went down and got our marriage license yesterday and when they asked what name I was taking it really hit me...it is actually happening OMG!!!
