soontobemrss's Pink wedding

Well most of the holidays my family does on a saturday (out of town family) and his does theirs on a sunday so thats not an issue but thanksgiving we have to alternate or leave early to go to my parents from his familys

I am having the same dilemma. I want to go with my parents, since I am the only child and I feel bad leaving them alone. He wants to be with his parents and his family. I have no clue what we are going to do.

Our first christmas we went home to our families, our 2nd christmas I was pregnant so we spent the day together and our 3rd christmas last year our daughter was 3 months old so we were altogether with my daughter from another relationship.....one big happy family......LOL last year I cooked for my family (parents and sister too, I do that nearly every year LOL)

We have a hard time figuring it out! But once we are married we are definitely sure we want to be together no matter where we are!

For thanksgiving he goes to his grandma's, I go to my dad's....for christmas we spend christmas eve at his moms, then christmas morning together then I go to my dad's and he goes to his moms and then we go to to his grandma's together the next weekend!

So stressful, I just want to be in ONE place and together. But I feel bad leaving my dad, it's just me, him and my brother....and I DON'T want my dad to be alone ever on a holiday. and he's a little shy and also likes to cook so doesn't really want to go over his mom's or grandma's...ugh I love holidays and I'm still happy but it sure is hard!
