Wedding Invitation - Freaking Out - SOONTOBEMRSV's Orange Wedding by Color Blog

I know it is pretty early being that I have over a year to go but my mom and I stumbled upon a great deal on some DIY invitations from Michaels. 50 Count Invitations, RSVP cards & Envelopes for $9.99!! AMAZING DEAL! And the design is perfect for our theme/wedding colors. I found only 3 boxes and I need 2 more. I've been stalking all of the Michael's in San Antonio and even had my cousin and FH searching in Houston and we have not had any luck. :( So in true Domonique fashion I am freaking out a little bit, not because I don't think I can find anything else but because I'm so in love with these. Part of me says just return them and go with something else later and the other part says FIND THOSE INVITATIONS WHATEVER IT TAKES! :) Has anyone else out there seen any great deals on invitations? I'm a HUGE bargain shopper. Maybe I can fall in love with some other ones at a great price.

Sounds like a great find. But how many guests are you expecting to invite? Unless you're inviting 500 ppl, I think 3 boxes of 50 invites should be ok. If most of the people on your list are either a couple or family, you can count that as one invite per household, not per person. So b/4 buying more, you should check how many households you're inviting. Just a thought!

ksteward78 Yes we have 500 PLUS people invited! Yes I know that is a LOT of people but we both have huge families and I also live in a small town where everyone knows everyone and the whole town is pretty close knit so its going to be a huge wedding! flrjohnson Thanks for giving me that info because I may be able to use her for our engagement party. I am happy to say that we finally (after 2 weeks of searching) found our last boxes of invitations so we are complete! :) I'm so happy & relieved! Thanks ladies for your advice!
