Thank you alwaysmrsromero's
I'm so blessed! Yet again, I met the most sweetest young lady on this website! IDK how she does it, but she made the time to create table numbers and mongrams!! When I first went on her web page I was just blown away by her table number template. So I asked her can she help me create the same....better yet, she created them for me!!! he he.Thank you alwaysmrsromero!!! Can't wait to see how these all print out. Yeahhh!!

I can't upload the pictures for the life of me....I can;t understand why. But, I will post when I am able to.

Wedding Flowers
Canada and flowers
Canada ladies...why is it that MOST of all the wholesale flower websites that I visited do not deliver to Canada? And if they do, they charge extraneous amounts of taxes and extra fees! WHY WHY!! Where are you Canada ladies getting your flowers from? I especially wanted large amount plumeria, some white and green Spider mums, carnations, maybe zembia's, and filler mums.....is that too much to ask for??? Anyhow, FYI ladies, the all white flowers (my bouquet, which I will DYI myself) in the picture looks like white spider mums, zembla, and some sort of white filler flowers...I'm too sure but, I'm close. The flowers on the table are loose plumeria's. 3rd pic, is color scheme I'm going for.

Wow, I love WBC!!! I've met some of the most giving, creative, talented, and selfless ladies on this site. vineyardbride2010's offered a freebie mongram yesterday and I loved the results! She is such a sweetie! I'm having problems uploading the clip arts but I will post. I just wanted to give her thanks :) I hope that I am able to give something to my fellow WBC brides as well one day.

Wedding Reception
Sit down or buffet???
I love the whole style of a sit down reception but, a buffet gives more variety. I'm so blessed because the venue I'm going with will allow me to bring in my own cultural foods!! I defiantly want to add some American flavors to some dishes as well. Plus the buffet style will save me at least $500.00!! Remember, I'm a budget conscious bride. I defiantly want something classy and presentation is EVERYTHING to me!! Most people view the buffet as a 2nd step from sit down. Plus I've witness total chaos when severing buffet style, no organization!! I really like the sit down because I want my guest to feel catered to. However, if I get the buffet, I can put that money towards other wedding expenses like our honeymoon, DJ or lighting. What do you guys think? If I do go with buffet style...how do I make it a classy and elegant affair, with no chaos? Or, should I stick with what I like....sit down and just suck up the cost?

Mock up centerpiece without the flower petals
This is just the mock up for now. I want a king table style setting (this will sit about 10 people). I do not have all the candle holders on the table nor do I have the flower petals. I used some wine glasses in lieu of different candle holder. Just to get an idea of how things are going to look. I also tried out napkin holder (note that the facility is going to give us ivory table cloth and napkins). I got these roses with wire from the dollar store. I'm also trying the hanging roses and the kissing ball which will be the ceremony decor (outside)....all with silk flowers....just playing around with ideas. Let me know me know what you guys think. :)

No flower petals??!! Yes it is a dilemma for me.
I just found out from the venue that I will be having both the ceremony and reception that they do not allow flower petals!! What???? It's too difficult to clean up, and there will be a $500.00 charge to clean it up. I'm paying thousands of dollars for what???? What am I to do now? I'm literally obsessed with the flower isle rather than an isle runner! I'm having a mini break down! I Ladies do you know of any alternatives? I even suggested that I could get some people to clean up afterwards but they refused. I haven't made the deposit as of yet...but I am certainly looking into other venues. Before I do that does anyone have any suggestions?

***Update****
I found two companies that make pre petaled aisles. But, the price tag is not looking too great for my budget. I can, but, I would have to cut corners on other expenses. Any DIY tips on how to make pre petaled aisles? I'm thinking a long yellow cloth for my aisle (to get that full look). Glue gun, yellow and ivory silk flower petals...and just glue it all on. I wonder how that DIY project would turn out?

For the brides that are willing to pay for it, here is the website:

***Update # 2****
Since I love DYI...I'm making my own pre petal aisle!! Yes!! I'm going to either purchase a yellow or white aisle runner or just cheap fabric either online or at a fabric store that is within the measurements of the aisle. I will then buy 15,000 Bright Yellow, Dark yellow, and Ivory silk petals. I will then use a spray adhesive on the cloth or aisle runner and sprinkle the mixed petals. Once dry I will lightly spray adhesive over the rose petals and add more rose petals. I want a full look......let's see how this works!!

Wedding Cake
OOH my!!!
I didn't know that wedding cakes cost anywhere from $500-$1,000!! I'm a DIY/budget bride. $1,000 is a bit too much for me. Are there any alternatives? I was thinking of making a display cake and serve my guest great cake (that would be served by the servers) from a regular bakery. Is this too tacky? I really don't like the cupcake stand idea though. I'm also thinking about paying for a display cake with just the bottom tier being real. However, that also runs about $250-$300.00. Any idea's ladies?

OMG-Help!! How do I make these hanging roses?
First of all...what are they called? I've looked all over the internet trying to find the name of this absolute beauty. No luck. I'm thinking they're made with fish wire and silk roses??? In the last picture, I'm thinking with ribbons and silk flowers. But how do you put this beauty together?
