wedding location
i seriously have no idea where this wedding should take place! i'm from texas. all my friends and family are from texas. on the other hand, he's from louisiana/mississippi, and all his family and friends are around there. how am i supposed to decide where to put this? at first i thought more of his family would show up, so i said louisiana. but now i've discovered a ton of my ppl would come if i had it close. he's got family members that can't travel, but so do i. i'm thinking of maybe having two weddings!! one in each state. of course one would be a vow renewal i guess...lol. maybe halfway...

Future Family
Does anyone else's future family wrongfully hate you? That's what I'm having to go through now. His dad's side of the family hates me for pretty much no reason at all because the reasoning they have is false. It's really annoying and my fiance definitely does not agree with their assumptions, but how am I supposed to deal with that on my wedding day. I mean, I know I have to invite them, but how do I get through the day without a buncha drama?

I'm reading this book about wedding planning and in it, it mentions that it's inappropriate to send out gift registry cards with the invitations (which is how I always thought you were "supposed" to do it), but it doesn't mention when or how you Should send them...so what are the rest of you brides doing with the cutesy little registry cards?

Wedding Colors
Ok, my main color is kinda royal blue, based on the gem sapphire. But I can't come up with many good complementary colors...I don't want to do white. I'm thinking maybe light pink or silver...any ideas or comments? please help, I'm new at this!!
