Wedding Music And Songs
The tunes that will matter...

It's a blustery, snowy day outside so we are housebound and I am going just a little stir crazy.
So I thought I'd start to get together a list of the music I know will need played at our reception.
I'm sooooo about any additional times I'm missing music for so feel free to assist.

Cocktail hour music...

Bridal Party and Couple entrance...(we've decided to come in all together) to... Pink-Raise Your Glass

Dinner Music... maybe some mellow Tom Petty? Sparky and I were discussing this the other day and we don't want random Muzak being played just cause we're eating.
I got to thinking last night that perhaps some Coutning Crows, Gin Blossoms and things of that nature would work well..

Our First Dance...Death Cab for Cutie- I Will Follow You into the Dark

Mother/Daughter Dance...

Must Haves...The Cure-LoveSong, Eddie Rabbit- I Love a Rainy Night, David Allen Coe- the Ride, Human League- Don't you Want me, Softcell- Tainted Love, Dead or Alive- You Spin Me Round, Waldorf- You're My Disco, Stacey Q- Two of Hearts, Real Life-Send Me an Angel Dance Mix,Depeche Mode-Never let Me Down or World in My Eyes,Information Society-What's on Your Mind, Spin Doctors- 2 Princes

Cake Cutting...

Bouquet Toss... Wanda Jackson- Funnel of Love?

Garter Toss... Possibly Duran Duran's Hungry Like the Wolf? But we'll see about that.

Dollar Dances...

I think that's it, right? I know our DJ will send us a list of songs he wants to know ahead of time but I think our views of 80's might not be the same thing. There's a LOT of hair metal on the radio around here. And that's so not us.
