Getting Stuff Done

Invitations, Favors, Decor

Well, the wedding is in 2 months and now my schooling is wrapping up soon. In june I will be on practicum and I don't know my schedule yet, so a lot of stuff needs to get done this month!

So far this month, we have the following done:

--Name change (finally, pheuf--but hopefully we will have all of the documentation in time to get our passports!)
--Got 99% of the invitations done up with my lovely ladies
--Ordered photo coasters for guest favors/place settings
--ordered a 60 ft roll of crystal garland for decorating (some goes on ceiling, not sure about the rest!)
--chose the paper lanterns we are having

This month, we need to accomplish the following:

--go meet with a florist ASAP to get bouquets
--take my dress to a seamstress to have the zipper taken out and laces put in (update: appointment made for Saturday)
--girl's dresses should be arriving, so we can take them in to be altered
--order paper lanterns (left message)
--finish the last of invitations and send (this needs to happen TODAY)(update: finished them but need to send them today)
--go purchase shoes and jewellery for me (shoes on saturday--need them for dress appointment)
--figure out what girls will wear for shoes and jewellery
--order headpiece if I am getting one from etsy
