This is stammlindsay's Pink Wedding!

I saw an idea similar to this in a magazine last year and thought it was so cute. I made everything for it a while ago but just put it all together this last week. I thought it turned out really nice. It will be displayed on an easel when you enter the reception so our guests know where they are seated.

So I had my first major Bridezilla moment last night and I think I am okay now. For now anyways. I have so much nervous energy now and I am having a hard time relaxing. Anyone have suggestions or ideas to calm my nerves?

I never gave it any thought until someone recently asked me. Are all of you wearing your veil at the reception or just at the ceremony?

I made these for our ceremony. I am going to have them as you enter into the church or at the beginning of the aisle. They turned out really nice; but I think they are prettier in person. And it's hard to tell by the picture that they're almost 5 feet tall.

I had a trial for my hair last Saturday. I need honest opinions please!

I finally ordered this the other night. My wedding is in less than 2 months this winter. I definately need this to stay warm. I think it will look really pretty in the outdoor pictures we will be taking.

Just thought I'd post a pic of the church we belong to and will be getting married in. This is the only pic I have. The church is beautiful. You can't tell in the pic but there are 2 sets of steps leading up the front. We are having our ceremony at night so we are lining candles up the steps to the entrance. The inside of the church is so pretty. It has a tall arched ceiling with lanterns that hang down and an 80 foot long aisle. It is really dramatic and pretty!

The first 3 pics are the bridesmaids gifts they will get for standing up in the wedding. These will be given at rehearsal. Each bag has a robe, frame, candles, soap, and drawer sachets. The 4th and 5th pics are the baskets we are giving to the moms and stepmoms at the rehearsal. Each basket contains a robe, frame, and a bottle of wine. Pics 6 and 7 are the gifts for the bridesmaids for throwing the shower. I got them each an ivory wrap and a bracelet to wear for the wedding. (Not pictured) I also got the moms each a large jar soy candle for helping with the upcoming shower.

This pic turned out like crap. They threw their dresses on real quick and I just wanted to post a pic of them. They are beautiful dresses and they look really pretty and flattering on all the girls. The pic does absolutely no justice.

Just wanted to post a pic of my mom's dress for the wedding. We ordered it through Nordstroms. It looks so pretty on her.

I finally made my crystal tree tonight. I am very happy with how it turned out. It is going to be the centerpiece for my candy buffet table. I have extra crystal strands left so I need to come up with another idea of what to make with the extras.

When it comes to all the planning and money involved, what does your fiance think. I think my fiance thinks I am crazy. He never realized so much planning went into a wedding. And my addiction to wedding websites and blogs have him thinking I've lost it. As far as the money I'd have to say once again he probably thinks I am crazy. But he continues to let me do as I please. He just wants me to be happy. I think he mostly agrees to keep the peace. Are you all driving your fiance's crazy? Do they think you've lost it? Do they think you're spending too much money?

So, I've got everything for the kid's table. The centerpieces are shown in the pics. I purchased glow sticks and necklaces, coloring books, construction paper, crayons, a few other things. This should be enough.

So I got my led candles in the mail today. I think they will look really nice on the church steps for our evening ceremony. However, I am going to order a bunch more tonight. I need atleast triple the amount I got.

I just ordered them yesterday. We will take our picture with these( like shown in the first picture) and turn them into cards. We will send these out for our thank you cards after the wedding. Picture 2 is what my signs will look like. I think I might do them in black and white. Is anyone else doing this? Any cute ideas?

Enlarge the picture to get a better idea of what they actually look like. These tags will go on the bridesmaid's bags I am putting together. The second picture is the back of the tags where I wrote short notes to the girls.

So I bought a bunch of pink and green glow necklaces and crayons and coloring books. I still want to couple more things. Any ideas? Nothing messy!
I thought feather boas and tiaras for the girls maybe. I might also have a dvd player with movies. Don't know. We are having a decent number of kids in different age ranges. Help me!

I'm thinkin about these to go on our signature cocktails. What a fun touch!

I don't know where I will use this look yet but I will. It is so pretty.I want them to be really tall and sit on the floor in an urn. More of a tree than a centerpiece. I have a few places it will work, I just have to decide where.

So November 15th the guys in the bridal party are spending the day paintballing and go-karting and stuff. So, while they are doing this I am having the bridesmaids over for a spa party. I am having a Body Shop consultant come over and we will use spa products. I am alo hiring a massage therapist to come to my house and maybe a nail technician. I'll have snacks and drinks. Then later that night I am going to hire a limo to take the entire bridal party out to a Hibachi restaurant in a nearby town. We will be doing this instead of a bachelor and bachelorette party. I think it will be a lot of fun!

Our reception is from 8pm-12am. These are the h'ourderves we are serving from 8pm-10pm:
-smoked salmon
-bleu cheese meatballs
-pineapple chicken kabobs
-bbq meatballs
-coconut shrimp skewers
-crab rangoon
-silverdollar sandwiches
-bacon wrapped waterchestnuts
-fruits
-vegetables
--cheeses and meats

And from 10pm-12am we are serving: (good to eat while intoxicated foods)
-silverdollar sandwiches
-cheeses and meats
-chips and dips

We will also have the dessert buffet all night:
-black tie mousse cake
-lemon cream cake
-white chocolate raspberry cheesecake

We are also having a candy buffet with tons of chocolates and candies.
Do you think this all sounds good? Does it sound like enough to choose from? What do you think?

My wonderful bridesmaids are throwing us a couples shower. It will be Sunday October 19th at 11:00am. They are going to serve mimosas, bloody mary's, and a wonderful brunch. Does anyone have any neat ideas for a couples shower? (things to do and etc.)

I finished my cards for the candy buffet table. I still need to write the names of candy on each one. One will sit in front of each vase of candy on the buffet table.

I wanted to tie the invitation, reception card, and the response card together but didn't like the look of a ribbon and bow on them. So, I created a ribbon band and I think they look really nice and they hold everything together very neatly. So, this weekend a couple of my girls are coming over to make ribbon bands with me and assemble invites.

My sea glass and floralytes came today! I did a trial run of the centerpieces that will be on the bar tables around the dance floor. They look really pretty in person and I think they will go great with our evening winter wedding! It's hard to tell in the pictures but in the vase is light pink sea glass to line the bottom and a large white flower. There is a white floralyte in each vase but that is also hard to see in the pictures. White feathers go around the base of each vase. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

I need to tone up! I don't want to lose weight, but man I need to tone up! I was in a motorcycle accident last July and I haven't exercised barely since then. I also quit smoking 1 1/2 years ago and have put on a little weight because I snack a lot more now! I feel good about my weight and am fine with it because I am at a healthy weight now. I always struggled to put on weight before. I was really thin and couldn't put on weight at all. It really bothered me being too thin because people always made comments to me and it pissed me off. People don't realize that it's just as rude making comments to someone underweight as it is to anyone who is unhappy with their weight. It hurts either way. Anyways, I do like my current weight but I have gotten out of shape. I am going to start exercising tomorrow. I needed to post this because this way I feel like I have to hold to it. I have been saying this for too long. It is time! I only have a little over 3 months to go.

I like all of these dresses and I'm not sure which one to pick? What dress do you like best? I need some opinions.

My centerpieces will be similar to the ones shown in the third picture. I am using glass vases with tall white branches. The vase filler is champagne colored beach glass. I am then going to use a white floralyte in each vase. I think they will be very pretty. We are having an evening winter wedding so I think these centerpieces will be perfect!

They are battery operated LED wax pillar candles.I was going to buy these on www.save-on-crafts.com but when I went to buy them tonight they was only 1 left in stock. Does anyone know of another website that has these for a good price?

I thought these pics were very pretty. If I were having a beach wedding they would be perfect, but my wedding is in December in Wisconsin. Maybe they will give someone else inspiration.
