Ask a Question
Are corsages and boutonnieres a must?
We are having an evening wedding with a cocktail h'ourderve reception. We are not sticking with tradition but I was wondering if we should do corsages and boutonnieres for the parents and grandparents? Or does anyone have ideas of other ways to honor and distinguish the parents and grandparents?

Hi - I am in the same boat as you not having traditional wedding either.  Cocktail evening wedding as well and funny not having a wedding cake but many different options.  Great minds think a like I guess.  LOL  I will await other people's responses also.  Good luck.

I would suggest corsages for the important ladies such as Mother of the Bride and Groom and Grandmothers.

Ilove this idea, where did you find it?  I might want to do that for some of the ladies.

I made my own with the real looking roses at Michaels. I wanted that formal evening feel. It's not neccesary, but I think it makes the person wearing them feel special.
