H'ourderves
What do you think?
Our reception is from 8pm-12am. These are the h'ourderves we are serving from 8pm-10pm:
-smoked salmon
-bleu cheese meatballs
-pineapple chicken kabobs
-bbq meatballs
-coconut shrimp skewers
-crab rangoon
-silverdollar sandwiches
-bacon wrapped waterchestnuts
-fruits
-vegetables
--cheeses and meats

And from 10pm-12am we are serving: (good to eat while intoxicated foods)
-silverdollar sandwiches
-cheeses and meats
-chips and dips

We will also have the dessert buffet all night:
-black tie mousse cake
-lemon cream cake
-white chocolate raspberry cheesecake

We are also having a candy buffet with tons of chocolates and candies.
Do you think this all sounds good? Does it sound like enough to choose from? What do you think?

The selection sounds sooooo good!  I think you hit every palette out there: beef, chicken, seafood & veggies, plus the yummy desserts.  Not a hungry soul there!  Everyone should be very happy. :)

I think this is a winner here. I will also be doing something similiar. I've noticed at a lot of weddings, they serve a buffet dinner.. and then the food disapears and you are cut off.. left hungry.. and you leave early...

this keeps the wedding fun.. people mingling.. they stick around longer.. they won't get as slobbering drunk.... AND.. they will talk about it for ages...


in a positive way of course!

my fiance is a chef... so he is coming up with what he wants (we are doing our own food)


here's some advice for sammiches.... *laugh*

use baguette bread...

because it already had a crusty outer layer... it doesn't get that weird stale feeling to it like normal bread when it is out for a couple of hours.

Your list sounds fantastic! It's really not neccesary to do all of that.. but if you can do it and thats what you want.. by all means... go for it!!
