I have been MIA lately, but been very busy!! I finally got me a rock & its gorgeous!!! He got down on one knee and everything!! So here is the story:
On April 8 was his birthday, and mine was on April 11. Well on April 8, I wanted to take him to a dinner, and he said ok, I want steak, so we agree on Jim's Place Grille and I am all ready to go around 7 but he says no lets go around 8:30, so I call back and change the reservation time. So at 8:30 he shows up at my house, in a SUIT! So I am shocked as he usually never wears a suit. So I am looking cute (ofcourse), purple dress with silver stilettos, and we are on are way. When we get close to the restaurant he says, you know I really want Firebirds, and their pineapple martini, I say well its your birthday you can have whatever you want! Remember I am not very good with surprises, I love to ruin them. I always have ruined them, and let me tell he has tried SEVERAL times! So at this point I am not thinking anything, and we go to this other restaurant, we walk in and say table for 2, and she starts walking us. From the corner of my eye I spot a guy who looks alot like my friend ( there was a wall blocking him), well this all happened in 2 second time frame, by the time I got focus, he yanks my arm and takes me towards him but I couldn't grasp what was happening. Well next thing I know, everyone is screaming SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!! I was in shock, and all I could say was "Its not my birthday, Its his birthday!" I just kept repeating it, because it was about 30 of our closest friends & family! My parents, his parents, all of our friends!! I was soo shocked! well they bring out birthday cake and everything and we both but our cakes, and then start eating dinner, everyone gives our birthday presents, etc. Well after eating the cake and dessert he gets up and starts to thank each and everyone personally by making speeches about everyone and how much they mean to us. Almost got teary, but I don't cry too often. Then he got to me and start saying how much he loves me and how I mean to him, and he would do anything for me and to make me happy, and then (drum roll please) GETS DOWN ON ONE KNEE AND SAYS "BABY WILL YOU MARRY ME?" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH apparently my words didn't come out, but hand him my hand, and he put the ring on!!!!!! I thought I said yes, but no one heard me!! Everyone started congratulating us, and then 10 mins his mom was like so is that a yes, and I said YESSSSSS ofcourse!! Everyone was Oh My God we can stop holding our breath now!!! Yay!!!! That's our Story!!
Well I forgot to mention its GORGEOUS!! I will try to upload a picture!! Its a platinum 1 carat round, with 2 trapeziod diamonds on the sides surrounded by round diamonds, and round diamonds going down the sides =)
