i need ideas!

Hey brides! I need some help on the table decoration... centrepieces?? As i'm gettin married a hundred mile away from home, all my friends and family wont be attending so H2B and i are having another celebration the following week... only problem is... we cant decide on a nice, un-pricey table centrepiece! We want something classy, vintage but not expensive. i love the wine glass idea but will it be not enough?? i especially love the pearls and im having pearls on the cake, me, and scattered around the tables. Bear in mind, the hotel do not allow candles (for health and safety purposes) and we cant really afford a big flower centrepiece for all 12 tables!!
Please help! Stevie :)

Well, are you a DIY bride? If so check out my centerpieces.  Also, you can try to look for the battery tea lights.  They run about $10 for 5 at michaels, but I am sure if you look around you can find them cheaper.

Short of that, I LOVE the flower that you have in this glass, I am thinking of adding this to my short center pieces.

I think the wine glass idea would be fine. Finish your table off with some inexpensive candles and it will be beautiful!

I like your ideas. I also like the thought of a couple of candles surrounding it. Think it's simple yet elegant and romantic.

bad thoguht, lol, I just pictured my guest trying to drink the water, lol.   Granted I trust my guest to be smart enough to know better, but you usually get one, lol.

Since your hotel does not allow real candles why not incorporate LED lighting in the vases or  LED candles around the wine glasses? A single wine glass looks boring to be honest. Just buy dollar store glasses and add LED lighting.

Thanks for the comments but i need more help!! My idea is to have maybe 3 wine glasses with the roses and pearls in but i still feel i need something slightly bigger and more "look at me!" for the centre of these. i like the scattered petals too...
Also... im from England so any English websites would be greatly appreciated as im unsure of how many dollars to how many british pounds there are! Thanks again! :)

What about a submerged rose with a string of pearls going from the bottom around the rose and hanging off the top of the vase?

This is something you can do yourself.  They sell pearl on a string for a pretty low cost, the rose may run you $2 to $10 depending where you go. The vase maybe $5 and maybe purchase some bigger loose pearls for the base of the vase.

Yes... good idea! You've got me thinking now :) I might get some vases for the centre and come up with something around pearls and roses :D Any other suggestiosn welcome! I might get some odd shaped clear vases and put pearls in with roses and then maybe some glasses around here and there. :D
