Awww! She is so sweet! She just needs to be trained. I agree, maybe an obedience school or a dog trainer who can come to the home? That is probably your best option. If a trainer comes into your home, they can see where she does her "damage" and can teach you how to be the best pet owner you can be :) (ps-I love dogs too. I know how this must feel. My pooch is my baby).

Could your dog be bored? maybe take him for longer walks or walks more often (dog park?) or you can trying buying dog chew toys like Kong or ropes etc etc

hope that helps :D
good luck

they have this thing called Bob-A-Lot...I've found Kongs to be fantastic. I stuff the Kongs with a mix of low fat cottage cheese, frozen vegetables, sometimes shredded chicken or grated cheese. I pop them in the freezer and when I have to go out I take some frozen Kongs out for my dogs to eat while I'm gone

Most likely she is bored. Hold is she? She could be teething if she's still a puppy.. Does she chew on things when you're home or when you're gone? And what do you do with her when you are gone?

Pitbulls have a lot of energy. Taking her on a quick 15-30 minute walk a day is not enough for her. If you have a place for her to play freely outside for a few hours a day, do that. Otherwise, you need to be taking her on at least an hour walk twice daily. That will help some.. and make sure you have an abundance of dog toys for her to chew on. If you catch her chewing on something she shouldn't, give her a strict "No!" and replace the item she was chewing with one of her toys. I have two dogs myself, one of which decided to chew on everything. I usually did that trick but added a smack to the nose. I also don't allow my dogs to run freely around my place when I am not around. They get put in their kennels.. which sounds mean, but they also spend about 3 hours a day at a dog park.

The main reasons for dogs chewing on things are either teething being that it's still a puppy.. or boredom.
