So I finally got my invites in...and they were super cheap! They are Carlson Craft ones...and for 100 with envelopes and respond cards it was $300!

So I wanted to have pictures of all of us girls getting ready, and I wanted them to be comfy too. So I went to walmart.com and they have all diff colors of velour pants. I got hot pink ones for all my girls to wear and they were only $7 each! I also bought them all white tanks that were at walmart.com for $3 each. I am taking the shirts to a shop where I can custom make my own designs that say bridesmaid and maid of honor on them for all my girls...I even picked an outfit up for the flowergirl because I know she wants to match too! I hope I'm giving you guys some good and cheap ideas to help save some money!

So for all you brides out there looking to save a few dollars here and there, behold..... dreamjewelry.net. They have replica tiffany, juicy, dior, gucci and others that are next to nothing in cost. I got everyone a gift from here. Parents, bridesmaids, groomsman, and the groom! Of course I picked something up for myself too, but for 14 items ( a mix between tiffany bracelets, necklaces, money clips and cuff links) I spent $200 bucks. I couldn't tell the diff between the real and the fake! I was even able to purchase tiffany bags and everything so it all looks genuine! I was such a great deal and saved me a ton of money! I will have to post back once I actually get them next week to let everyone know how they all turn out!

So I was quoted $6000 to do my wedding for the flowers...I said woah...no way. Then he went down to $3000 but it was nothing I wanted. So I decided to make my own centerpieces. There are three diff sizes that I used..and three diff colors. The big hot pink ones cost me about $25 to do...then $20 for the med. light pink, and then the small orange were about $20 as well since those flowers were a little more and couldn't buy then in bundles:( I'm going to be putting the three balls on half the tables....and then the votives with flowers going in between then on the other half. The vases with the flowers in there are going be going across the head table. AND! the wedding isn't till May, but I probably will be selling these afterwards if anyone would be interested!

Hooray!! I'm finally able to show some pics! This was not my first diy...but I think it was the one I was most happy about in the end! It only took about 2 hours to make it..and I just got boxes from hobby lobby. I used scrap booking paper and spray adhesive and then painted the tops. All together it probably cost about $40...including the boxes!

Lighting!
So lighting plays a major part in the way your reception will look. Well over at menards I found the canned lights that you just plug into an outlet, and put colored bulbs in...they were about $8 each and I'm just going to plug them in going all around the perimeter of the room!! I'm so excited because I was quoted by a lighting company for 18 of them to be $500. So this was a really nice way to save some money and add some lighting!

AND I still can't add photos....does anyone maybe know why nothing is able to be clicked on to add photos???

Okay, I'm already getting frustrated..I cannot add any photos...the camera that you click on will not do anything at all...so until I have any photos I apologize:(...Anyways...My planning is soooo stressfull, as I'm sure it is for all you brides. I've been saving alot of money by making things myself though! Which as soon as I can show you all my pics I will. I did my card box!!! looks fantastic...I dyed my crinoline...which I thank fabulousmrsklein for the great idea! Oh and I guess I should say that my colors are PINK and ORANGE!!!!. I've also made my unity candle and some cute plates and jars for my smores bar!! YUM YUM! There are still many many things I have to do...and right now I'm just waiting for my invites so I can see how those look. Well thats a little about my wedding..so yeah! I'm sure you'll all here more from me!

Okay...for all you brides using a little bit of damask! I have seen these super cute damask draw string bags at hobby lobby. They are part of there x-mas stuff so they are currently 50% off!!!! Yay. Another thing I came across that would be cute favors...was at walmart and they are damask mouse pads!! They are soooo cute I bought one for myself. Good luck with all your findings!!
