Have You Paid Attention to Valentino Spring 2012 Collection

Anyone who follows French Wedding Style facebook or twitter knows that earlier this week I was glued to the Valentino Spring 2012 Collection haute couture live stream. I would love to go to a couture fashion show, but for now this was the next best thing AND I commented on twitter and even got retweeted by Valentino which made me squeal!

I had such a great time watching the live show, I hope more designers opt for live streaming options, opening up this elusive event to the wider public.

Valentino coupled decadent Marie Antoinette details with soft, whispery elegance for a truly feminine dreamy collection. The collection featured prints, watercolours and barely there prints with dramatic necklines in homage to Marie Antoinette resulting in dresses ideal for upcoming brides.

I love the dresses and think the bottom coat is a stunning addition to any chic winter wedding. I am looking forward to seeing how high street bridal retailers incorporate the Valentino inspiration into their collections.
