Beautifing yourself for a wedding can be VERY pricy!!!! You have to get your hair cut, colored, hair trail, then hair day of, plus your makeup trail and makeup the day of,teeth whitening, hair care products up until the day of.....gezzz!!!! It can kind of get exhausting for trying to keep up with all prepartion! Wouldn't it just be easier if you were a guy? All you would have to worry about is maybe a cut before the wedding and your tux:o I think they have it made!
I guess at least I like to be pampered:) So, this weekend I went home to my parents, still here, to get my hair highlighted and minor cut. Then today I went to get my hair did up with extensions. I think the top part of my hair looks nice,I'm just not sure about the side pony tail part:-/ I'm still on the fence about it..... What do you think?
I know one thing though, she is going to have to put in a S@*#* ton of bobby pins because I only wore this style for probably 1 hour before it started coming out:o Ahhhhh!!! I'm thinking she just did it kinda quick like since it was just a trail . I'll just have to mention it to her, so that way she knows.
When you picked out your hair style did you only do one hair trail? Or if you used extensions did it take you a while to get used to them? What did you do when your hair started to get messed up? Did you change your hairstyle?
Sorry for the side ways pics:o
I think the side pony looks adorable. I couldn't decide at first if I wanted my hair all the way up or down, so I searched up beach wedding hair and seen a really cute hairstyle. It was a side pony with the pouf in the back and lots and lots of curls. I love it!!! I needed something 'beachy' so it fit into my theme and so I could put flowers in my hair =) I actually did 2 trials but it was a waste of time because I ended up liking my 1st hair trial more.. but it was probably a good thing I went to the 2nd trial or I wouldn't been so happy with my first one. I just wanted to be 100% sure I had what I wanted.
As for the style 'falling out' as you say.. did you use a lot of products in your hair the night or day of the hair trial? You aren't supposed to wash your hair a few days leading up to the wedding(although it will be hard for me to do this!) because 'dirty' hair holds curls better, the 2nd hair trial I went to I had used a straightner on my hair and it didn't hold the curl AT ALL. Also typically they only use minimal amounts of bobby pins for the hair trial #1 because they cost money and #2 because you don't need it to hold as long.. most brides go straight home and take it out. so I wouldn't worry about that. She should have explained this to you!
laurie88 - I didn't use any product in my hair at all. In fact I washed my hair the day of that I had my hair stylist do my hair! I always heard that you shouldn't wash your hair for alittle while in between getting your hair did, but I didn't know if that would really hold true or not:-/ I just couldn't believe that my hair was falling out so soon! One of my bridesmaids came with me and she told me that she thought the stylist would put a little more product and bobby pins in for the final style...I just really want to make sure that at least my hair style would hold for pictures which could be 2 or 3 hours....depending on the different places in which we take our pics. Ya, and I don't know why she didn't really tell me about how it may fall out because it's the first hair trail. I guess that mgiht have made me feel better about it. But, i will definitely take yoru advice and try to hold off on washing my hair and putting product in it for as long as I can(hopefully a day or so) Thanks:)
