Ask a Question
Which Order to Introduce Wedding Party?

Hey girls! I have been trying to pan out things for my DJ and one of them that I'm stumped on is how to introduce the wedding party at the reception. I have 5 bridesmaids and groomsmen, 1 flower girl and 1 personal attendant and 2 ushers(almost forgot about them).

I was thinking about introducing the parents first. Then would I introduce the flower girl with the personal attendant or would I start with the bridesmaids and groomsmen then introduce the flower girl with the personal attendant? Should I even have the personal attendant and the flower be introduced together? Do you have the DJ even introduce the flower girl and the personal attendant.........boy oh boy am I confused!!!! Almost forgot about the ushers too!!! Are the ushers introduced with the wedding party?

Oh, and are you guys doing anything fun or different when you are being introduced either as bride and groom or as the whole wedding party?

Please help me figure this out girls:) Thanks for all of your suggestions! I don't know what I would do without you ladies!!!!!

From what I have seen you usually just introduce the bridesmaids, groomsmen and MOH, Best Man. I have 2 personal attendents and wont be introducing them, they will sit at a table with my MC's.

We didn't have a flower girl or ring bearer. But we just had the bridal party get announced in the order that they walked in our recessional. Then of course we were last. But it might be nice to introduce the parents -- we just had our sitting at the two closest tables to the head table, so they were easily noticed! Good luck deciding :)

im introducing the bridesmaids in the order they'll be sitting so the furtherest to walk to their seat is intorduced first and having them remain standing.
Then introducing the groomsmen in the order they'll sit so the best man who is seated next to the groom will be first and they'll remain standing then myself and my groom will be introduced.. if that makes sense...!
Have the ushers and personal attendants be seated with general guests and introduce the flowergirl first so she gets her own little intro then either groomsmen with their bridesmaid partner or all bridesmaids then all groomsmen.
If ur introducing parents maybe do them between the flowergirl and the bridal party?

We have them set up the same was as they came/stood in the church....

First BM to go down the ailse, is the first one to go into the hall (with the GM).

The Best Man and MOH gets introduced before us,
Then we get introduced!

We are playing the same song for our wedding party and then changing the song for us. When we walk in we are going to the middle of the dance floor, have a small kiss and then go to our seats at the table.

Thanks for all of your suggestions girls:)    It sounds like a lot of you are introducing just the wedding party and possibly the parents!  This helps me out tons.  Now, I can get the list ready and give it to my DJ!!!  Another check off on my checklist:)
