Looking back...are you kicking yourself??....shoulda? coulda? Woulda?...
Hi Ladies-
Now it's alomos 4 months since our wedding day, and I find my self thinking about the shouda , couda, woudas.... SHOUDA? Don't get me wrong...my day was an ABSOLUTE dream, and I re-play it in my head everyday, but that's the problem....I re-play it in my head because I didn't take the time to "Spring" for the d@mn videographer!!! grrrrrrh!!! And what makes it so bad is that I read one of our WBC sister's (Saradarhling's) post BEFORE my wedding saying "please, please, get you a videographer, cause you will regret it later" After I read her post a few days before my wedding, I started calling around at the lat minute trying to find someone, and there were people available....I just could not absolutely could not find the dog on funds!! WTH??...I just should have figured it out!!...now i just have pictures....***sigh***...oh, well...I love my pictures....which leads me to my COULDA? Even tho I absolutely LOVE my photographer and my pictures...I could have taken the time to get in more photos...it was just so FREAK"N hot and humid...I was like, "ok..let's go in"...and now I wish I had more with the hubsy and the car, and in front of the castle, there were so many opportunites that I just let pass right on by because of the damn heat! D@MIT Tara (kicking myself)....sigh..... finally...my WOULDA? My gut kept telling me...do a "first look" before the wedding...but what did I do...listened to my sister who said"Nooooo that reuins the tradition of the wedding"...but to me the first look would have been that intimate moment that we would have gotten to talk to each other, and share a few loving words, and for him to really tell me how good I looked (lol) without all the hype of the crowd! AND it would have made a great photo opt....NOTE TO SELF....always follow my gut!! (kicking myslef again). But other than that....I can't complain, cause at the end of the day... I got my King, we got married, the wedding was the BEST ...we're still getting raves about it, and it exceeded my expectiations!!! And I would do it all over again the same way!! (except with a videographer!!...LOL) Question to you: Any shoulda, coulda, woulda's for you???.... |

What is or will be your annual "I DO"??
So, the hubsy and I have been thinking....what can we do every year to sort of "mark" our love, or re-kindle the love of our wedding day on our anniversary, and we came with having an annual photo shoot!
Every year the month of our anniversary, we're going to do an Anniversary Photo shoot. To just mark that particular year of our lives. You know how people say "pictures are say a thousand words", or "Pictures tell a story". Well, our anniversary photo shoot pictures will "tell the story" of our past year together every year!! New house, New job, New city, new BABIES...just anything we have going on...and just show our love....like the engagement pictures!! I think this is a great Idea! and can't wait to do this with my King every year :-) So the question I ask you.....If you have one, or plan on having one after you're married....what will be your annual "I do"/thing?? I would love to hear! Thanks for in advance for sharing ladies!! |

Hi ladies!
I know a lot of you are looking for ways to "shed the pounds" to be at your BEST for your wedding day. Well.....you may want to check out your local HOT Yoga classes. For those that don't know Hot YOga is where you practice Yoga poses (28 poses to be exact) in a room heated at 105 degrees farenhiet, with 60% humidity, for 90 minutes. This class is so refreshing and relaxing!! When I say you will sweat....YOU WILL SWEAT!! and I"m NOT an easy sweater by FAR!!!, but 10 mintues in ...sweat was literally dripping from my face!!! ...LOVED IT! I totally recommend this class not only for weight loss, but to keep your stress levels under control during the crazyness of planning, and to keep you sane!! Had I known about this during my planning process, I would have been there at least once a week! Of course my wedding is over, but I still gots ta keep it tight for the hubsy!!...And tryin to keep my body stress free so that it can welcome a BABY!! Keep your figures crossed and pray for us!! TTYL Ladies!! |

Summerbride2010 Honeymoons in HAWAII!

Hi ladies!!
We left for our honeymoon the Sunday after our wedding and lived it our first week as Husband and Wife and the Beatiful Island of HAWAII!! It was so surreal, loving and relaxing!! We had a wonderful time. We went to visit Pearl Harbor, and on a dinner cruise, Luau, jet skiing, parasailing!! We just had a blast, and really enjoyed each other! We didn't want to come home! HA Anywho...here are some of the pictures. I'll post a part 2 with more pictures and video footage!..LOL This video is of me...on stage...doing the HULA!!! HA This is the first time I get to share me actually MOVING!! HA...not just still framed pictures!! Summerbride2010 is planning AGAIN! (yay!)
Since all my family and friends think I did such an AWSOME job planning my wedding. I have now been recruited to plan a party this September!! ( I have to work fast!!..LOL)
My sister is turning 35, and her hubsy came to me to find a theme, and to plan the party! He is pretty much just funding it!..LOL So, I'll probably be on here posting projects (for anybody who is planning a masquerade themed reception....we may have some things in common!). I already have awsome ideas as to how to make that night a special one! The date is set for September 25th! wish me luck girls! I'm sure it will be a super fantastic event!! Part 4: The reception/Finale!!
Ok, since WBC is POPPING with photos today!! I decided to go ahead and join the fun with posting my reception (part 4 photos).
Some are pro pics, some are non pro pics from guest!! The rooms was decorated and lit so beautifully...it really set a mood for everyone!! The steel drummer also help to set the mood with the Island sound playing as guest enjoyed the cocktail hour of our signature drink (WILL-I-AM), and delicious crap dip, and fruit and cheese trays!! Hubsy and I entered to JayZ and Beyonce's "Crazy in love"!! and brought the house DOWN!!! We danced it out!! the guest loved it!!!! We then had a first dance with interpretive dancers starting it out...to Luther vandross and Mariah Carey's "Endless love"...and then they pulled us in at the end to finish the dance!! and we had a fog release at the end of the dance!! It was sooo magical! The cake looked as if it was floating on air with the KICK AZZ clear box!! Guest rant and raved about it!! and took so many pics!! Our punch fountain, marti mashed potatoes, food, and monogramed cookeds was a HUGE HIT!!! the photo booth was a huge hit!! a line STAYED at the booth. Hubby and I had to break in line to get some pics!!...LOL Then we just danced the night away!! Oh yeah, we took shots with the guest!!!! We really let our hair down and had a blast!! In our advice box...once couple wrote : from the wife "E...Tara is always right!!"...and her husband advice was ..."Please ignore everything my wife just wrote!!..LOL WE loved it!!! Our reception was so much fun... Our guest said, they had NEVER been to a wedding like that before, they did not want to leave!!! Oh, and we played the shoe game!! ....it too was a hit!! Just so much went on!! the time FLYIED!! I re-live it in my head EVERYDay!! Hope you ladies enjoy my Series!! Thanks for all your help agian girls!! (((HUG))) Summerbride2010 |
