Summerbride2010 has been shopping!!

So my bridal shower "tea" invite starts out with:

"Please Join us for Afternoon Tea,
Honoring a very special Bride-to-be.
We'll wear pearls , hats, gloves, and such,
To add to this occasion a very elegant touch."

Then it goes on to name the place at registry info.

So, I set out on mission this weekend to find my dress, hat, and gloves. And this is what I came up with.

I'll be wearing this with some crazy hot black sandles, and white pearl necklace and earrings. Now, I need to find me some black lace gloves.

What do you ladies think???

SN: The hat is SUPER cute with the bird cage attached, and I tried on the whole outfit for my FH, and he says "ooh babe, you look sexy, I like that hat, is your veil going to be like that?" I was like WHAT?? You got to be kidding me dude. When I showed him the bird cage veil MONTHS ago, he said he didn't like it because it looked like a hair net (and I REALLY wanted it), Now he's all "it's sexy" and it's too late cause I've spent $200 on a traditional veil cause that's what he wanted!...boy I tell ya..LOL

I love it! the outfit looks so cute and comfy!

LOL...all I can say is "MEN!" So, now he loves the birdcage veil!!!! hahahaha! Too funny and cute!

The dress is cute! So with all of our recommendations, you have to share where you found the winner!!! Seems like we have the same theme for our bridal shower! I have yet to find my freaken dress! But, I had my pearls and hat and shoes down...I know, sounds backwards. Such is life...lol...I always find accessories I love first, then find the outfit later. I'm so backwards.

Lace gloves you can find at these random stores like Forver 21, Hot Topic, Charlotte Russe, maybe even Ice. Just go to the mall and hop from store to store. Good luck girl!

I found the winning dress at the place called Group USA at an outlet mall in Charlotte, NC. AND it was marked down from $69 to $20 BUCKS! how awsome is that?!

So glad we share bridal shower themes! When my RAVED about the "tea bag" designed invitation...and they are SO excited! I can't wait :-)

LOL@FH loving the birdcage veil. They never know what they like until they see us in it, lol. He will love the traditional veil, because all he will see is YOU, don't worry.
