Hi ladies!
I know a lot of you are looking for ways to "shed the pounds" to be at your BEST for your wedding day. Well.....you may want to check out your local HOT Yoga classes.
For those that don't know Hot YOga is where you practice Yoga poses (28 poses to be exact) in a room heated at 105 degrees farenhiet, with 60% humidity, for 90 minutes.
This class is so refreshing and relaxing!! When I say you will sweat....YOU WILL SWEAT!! and I"m NOT an easy sweater by FAR!!!, but 10 mintues in ...sweat was literally dripping from my face!!! ...LOVED IT!
I totally recommend this class not only for weight loss, but to keep your stress levels under control during the crazyness of planning, and to keep you sane!! Had I known about this during my planning process, I would have been there at least once a week!
Of course my wedding is over, but I still gots ta keep it tight for the hubsy!!...And tryin to keep my body stress free so that it can welcome a BABY!! Keep your figures crossed and pray for us!!
TTYL Ladies!!
Did I mention I go again tonight!! can't wait either :-)
And not Prego this month :-(...guess we'll keep at it. If I would have gotten pregnant this month...the expected due date would have been July 9, 2011!! (our wedding date) ...that would have been SOOO AWSOME!! Oh, well...maybe next time.
Aww you're too adorable! It will happen at the perfect time. :) I adore yoga, and hot yoga is absolutely amazing to detoxify and just feel invigorated and def good weight loss. That's it, I am going tomorrow lol
I really want to do Hot Yoga!!! I'm going to look into it!
=)
Sabrina2279- Definatley look into it...you won't regret it ! :-)
Even better my best friend is a yoga teacher!
But either way, try to find a hot yoga studio that offers a class in lower heat. Moksha Yoga is where I go and they have studios all over Ontario. But also, when you first try hot yoga, you can literally do as much as you can while you acclimatize to the heat. You constantly get better the more you go :)
As for Mark, yeah he crazy! Everyone looked at him funny and I almost bet him that he would pass out, but glad I didn't test the determination. He was a walking wet rag getting out of there, but he did it!
Here's the Moksha studio in Burlington classes Amanda. Vinyasa and Yin classes are in reduced heat rooms :) I dunno which Moksha studio would be closest to you, but if there is one, check it out!
Thanks for posting the info for the Canada ladies!! You're always so helpful Tash!..gotta love ya ;-)
Misspriss-That's what I love the most about it. The feeling afterwards is so wonderful!
Amanda- "Yoga Pony"...LOL
