Just ordered for my boys!
Just ordered my black and white damask ties for my little boys in the wedding from etsy seller "trendy sisters"! Can't wait to get them and try them on the boys to see what they look like! I will post pics when I recieve them.

Wedding Reception
Photo Booth ...I WON!!! (YAY)
Ok...so as you can see from my previous post, I was REALLY wanting a photo booth at our reception, but we were not going to be able to afford one. I had to pick and choose, so I chose to let go of the photo booth to hold on to some other must haves, and I was looking for a cheap alternative. WELL....Last month (while at a bridal show), I entered a drawing contest. The contest started in January, every month from Jan-Dec of 2010 they will draw a registered Bride's name to win a prize. Well guess who was the winner for January...YOURS TRUELY!!!! (YaY)!
I got a phone call today saying I won a FREE 3 hour photo booth rental, with unlimited pictures and FREE DVD!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!! If this blessing wasn't RIGHT ON TIME!! :-) I'm so happy. I called the vendor and gave them our date and now I am going to have a photo booth!!!!! Things work out SO Well sometimes!! :-) |

Are disposable Camera's tackey/out-dated????
With the technology we have today with digital cameras....are disposable cameras tacky????
Ok, so it looks like I may NOT be able to get the photo booth for the reception :-( So, I've been searching for a budget friendly alternative that will capture pictures of our guest. SO, what I came up with is Disposable cameras at each table. I'll put one camera at each table with one of these litte messages: 1.) "I'm your camera so have some fun, You'll make this album a special one! Snap away as best you're able, then leave me aoff at the gift table! OR 2.) The bride and groom have a request, So put on a big smile and look your best, When you see some fun take the hint, You snap the camera, and we'll make it print! OR 3.) See this wedding camera sitting here--- It's for your use, we say. To help us capture memories on this, our wedding day. share the camera amonth the guests. Some candid shots please take. Then leave the camera when you're done. An albulm we will make! The cameras are $5.49 each for about 34 tables so we'll spend about $195 vs. the $700 for the photo booth...AND we'll get PLENTY of fun shots to make our own slide show/DVD!! What cha think?? |

Is it ok For FH to see his ring???
Is it ok to for FH to see his wedding band before the wedding?? I purchased his ring today, and then I called my MOH all excited and was like " I got Eric's ring, I'm going home to propose to him..lol" And she was like, "Your not suppose to let him see the ring". I had never heard of such a thing....that the man could not see is wedding band before the wedding....
Have you all heard of that??? By the way...this is his ring, and its so FABO in person!! I'm so excited! |

Ordered these today!
Ok...so I tried these on at DSW the other night,and they are gorgeous!! But they didn't have them in red. So...I went to their website, and low and behold...RED!! So, I've ordered them, and waiting for the arrival! PLUS they are less expensive than my original $200 pair of shoes. I just hope they are not too high for the dress :-(??..We'll see.

Wedding Dress
Which one?? Help!
Ok, so it's 5 months til my wedding, and I STILL have not ordered a dress yet. I have to order a dress ASAP because I take bride only photos in May.
I'm having a hard time choosing between the two. I love them both, but I have NOT been able to try them on because the stores don't have them available to try on...BUT they can order them for me. So, my questions to you are: 1. Should I go ahead and order one of the dresses WITHOUT seeing it in person?? 2. Which one do you like best out of the two? * The black dress in the middle are my girls dresses (just wanted to give you guys an idea of what it will all look like). Please help me out ladies!!! Thanks in advance! ********** UPDATE************ One of the stores has dress number 2 in FINALLY!!! AND in my size (yay), I'm heading out this evening to try on! Wish me luck! |
