Wedding Budget
What's yours? Where are you spending what?

FutrueMrsWilsons post has really got me thinking. I know how much we have to spend...But I really haven't broken it down too much. And Nick's Mom has really been hinting that for the last wedding (FBIL's) his wife who is seriously my idol for organization...gave them this little budget paper that showed them exactly what the money was going to. They are giving us 10, 000 for the wedding so I think they do have the right to know where that money is going...

Have any of you figured this out? Anyone willing to share a template?

I've just been buying little things here and there and I really have no idea what they cost anymore..Like candy for our candy buffet, etc.

What are your gals budgets? How much do you plan on spending on decorations? Food? Invites?

We are aiming for $10,000, but it looks like we're going to have to go a little over that.. but not by much thankfully.

I've been using a GoogleDoc for our wedding budget and everything else. It's really helped us keep track of where our money is going.

When we got engaged we were aiming for $40,000 but it is more like $53,000 right now...

I did the same thing, didn't keep track at first and all the little things add up...
$30,000 is for venue/catering/ceremony fee and linns
$3,500 is for decorations
Invites $500 (DIY)
The remaining  $18,000 goes to vendors (photographer, music, jewelry, shoes, transportation, and little things like the guestbook)

well mine is currently sitting at $12,587.00
Which means I'm over by $2,587.00 but if you don't count my parent's buying my dress :)

My original budget is $20,000, but I may have to downsize that to around 15,000.  If my mom helps then maybe 20,000.

I think i have redone my budget a good ten times since the wedding planning started....always making adjustments. My budget is $15,000 but Im looking at it being closer to $17,000 as the date is appraching. I hope it doenst go over that

Our budget is $10,000. HOPEFULLY it stays that way. I haven't put any down payments yet. I've bought the invites from Michaels here and there when i get coupons. I'm using my own money for the little things like that. I'm not going to use our wedding account until we put down payments on venues and such.

our venue is $1,500.
Invites- they vary, depending on the coupons i use.
Food- I hope i don't have to spend more than $1,500.
Decorations- doing ourself.. with familys help.

I've gotten spreadsheets from a couple of people. Sarahdarling emailed me hers. I've also heard about the one on theknot.com.
